TITAL 2: Why did It Take Me So Long To Do This?

Roxas nodded. "Roxas. Yeah, he seemed kinda depressed about something or other. Another guy called Kazuya went after him."

"Huh... Well, if he's upset, best to leave him be. I don't think he's the type who needs comfort. Just a thought." Xile bites his lower lip casting about for a topic but unable to find one to talk about.

Roxas shrugged. "That's what I said." He looked around as an awkward silence filled the air. What did people do when they had nothing to talk about? All he'd ever done was eat ice cream on top of a clock.

Blake and the two unknown allies were fighting heavily. Blake said to the Red Purgatory soldiers,"C'mon! if you're gonna fight me, come at me, mofo!" He then began to slice away at three more soldiers. The girl then turned her katana into a rather large gun that fit on her hand perfectly. She opened fire, releasing a snowstorm of bullets into the soldiers, finishing them off. She said,"That took longer than I wanted it to..." She looked at Blake. She smiles, and says,"Hey! Thanks for helping us out there...I'm Rachel." Blake nodded and said,"I'm Blake Mueller. Who's the guy?" The man quietly said,"I'm Will."
"Nice to meet you two. Follow me." Blake motioned for them to follow him to the house.

Idiot... Don't try to talk to someone if you have nothing to say! Think of something... Xile stares at his feet for a few moments before looking up again. "So... what do you do for fun around here?"

Roxas shrugged. "We just kinda do whatever. Random stuff, or if there's someone who needs fighting, half of us go off and do that."

Xile chuckles and shakes his head. "I meant you specifically, Roxas. Don't you have anything to do to whittle the time away?"

"Hmm..." Roxas thought for a moment before a light-bulb appeared above his head. "Got it!" he said. He reached down the back of his shirt and pulled out a Struggle bat. "I hit people with this, and they make vague attempts to hit back!"

Xile raises an eyebrow, his expression belying his mind's confusion. Is he crazy, a sadist, or is he just good at what he does? Xile scratches his head before replying "Well, if you'd like I'll spar with you. Sounds like an interesting way to spend a few minutes."

"Alright, let's go, then!" said Roxas, getting prepared to fight. He thought he saw a moment of confusion from Xile, but it seemed to pass quickly, so he paid it no mind.

Xile grabs his sword, holding it in a position that, when swung, the flat of the blade would hit Roxas. "You want me to use this, or do you have another one of those foam bats somewhere? I don't want either of us to get hurt..."

Roxas shook his head. "Nah, I can handle it. Your sword's just gonna be a bit more red than my bat, that's all."

Xile lets out a surprised chuckle at the Nobody's confidence and bravado. "Just a bit, then? Well, so long as we're bruising each other up, then I guess it's okay." Xile readies his sword, holing it in both hands, parallel to the ground in front of his right shoulder. "En guarde, Roxas."

"Not exactly a bat made for guarding," replied Roxas, misunderstanding his opponent. He did a simple forward-hop and thrust.

Xile steps backward and smacks the bat down with his own sword, becoming wary of his opponent's speed. "I see that now. You move with agility..." he says, aiming a strike at Roxas's shoulder. "I'm impressed!"

Roxas jumped back, then up, and made a dive for Xile's shoulder. "This isn't even my best! You should see my Limit Break!"

Xile dodges to his right, keeping his sword in front of him in preparation for any follow-up. "Oh, you can Break too? Get in line, short stuff: most Nobodies, and several others, can as well."

Roxas cartwheeled directly over Xile and swung down at his shoulder. "I know, I was one of fourteen just that I knew!"

Xile swung his blade to meet Roxas's bat with a resounding THAP! Putting pressure on Roxas's weapon, Xile smirks and replies "Well then, that makes you one of the Organization, right? My master was number VI."

Roxas smirked back as he applied pressure to equal Xile's. "I was lucky XIII," he said, inching the bat lower down Xile's blade in hopes to get a push.

"I had always believed Thirteen an unlucky number... but maybe you just shifted it to Fourteen?" Xile twists backward and then stabs at Roxas's stomach, hoping to catch him off-guard.

Xile was not so lucky. Roxas jumped and slapped Xile's sword into the ground, following up with a swing at the shoulder. "Shifted what?"

Xile's sword literally hitting pay dirt, unable to bring it back up in time Xile flings himself backward, landing on his hands and vaulting backward again. Looks like I'm right so far about his luck. "Your luck. I hear your friend, the Fourteenth, got wiped out by your own hand."

Roxas stopped. "Yeah. She wanted me to take down the Organization, but I couldn't do it while she was around, so...she made me fight. Still..." He shifted back into battle-mode. "That's in the past. She's fine now, so there's no reason for me to think about that!" He jumped forward and started swinging, left-right-left-right-down-left-right-down.

Xile struggles to keep up with the speed Roxas displays, quickly stepping backward. "Looks like you're finally taking me seriously." Xile steps forward after the down-swing, kicking Roxas's hand and aiming a punch at the teen's face.
