The Eternal Clock

Kuroyuki was in shock. One moment she was in a battle, now being kissed by her opponent. She really wasn't sure on how any of this happened. She was lost, and felt light-headed. But there's something else she felt. And she took up on that feeling. She held the hand of Gunamnex. She whispered his name.

Lance nodded with a smile, "She's truly a wonder. And a miracle. That state her memories are in, she should be in a coma."

Maya slowly began to wake up looking between Aleri and Lance, then Thalia, "Can Maya have ice cream now?"

Aleri's eyes lit up. "Hey, why don't we all go and get some? I'll treat!"

"Nothing much". White replied. "We should do a mission".

Trexksyl blinked. "You need to forget. Wanna hear a joke!"

Daniel sighed. "Why not. Go ahead.


Dispatch shrugged. "Yeah, why not. I got nothin' better to do. What'd you have in mind?"

Nathan was walking around and noticed White and Dispatch talking about going on a mission. "Hey, can I join you guys?" Nathan asked.

Dispatch said, "I don't see why not." He mumbled, "Then again, I don't see why either..."

"Okay, let's see...." White pulled out his PDA. "Three man mission, three man mission...."

BEEP!

"Okay, Port Royle? Never heard of it...our target...Unknown Giant Heartless?"

Whore looked up. "Sound good?"

Trexksyl laughed. "Okay..."

She cleared her throat.

"A koala bear is in a tree, eating a banana. The koala's friend, the lizard comes up to him and says, 'Hey can I have a bite?'. The koala says 'sure', and hands him the banana. The lizard licks it, and sure enough he was thirsty. 'I'll be back. I need a drink' the lizard said. The lizard went to the watering hole and began to drink up the water. The lizard's friend, the crocidile, sees him. He asks where the koala is. The lizard tells him. The crocidile then goes to the tree where the koala us at. The crocidile asks the koala what's he up to. The koala bear then says 'Dude! How much did you drink!"

Trexksyl then began laughing, really hard.

<Whore?>
Daniel laughed, though really just to humor Trexsyl. He wasn't really in the mood for jokes, but at the same time...

Dispatch said, "Port Royal...Feel like I've heard it before, but I've never been there. Let's go?"

<R is next to T, O is next to I on a keyboard. He just had the bad luck of getting both letters wrong...>

<Inorite? I'm just sayin'...that's really unfortunate keyboard design...>

Nathan nodded. "I'm up for it"

Erntxt threw a punch to Wayne's ribs, which the mercenary stopped with his forearm and responded with a kick to Erntxt's shin. Erntxt jumped away from the kick and into the air, flipping in the air and drop-kicking Wayne in the chest, sending him flying across the hall.

Placing both palms on the wall, Wayne pushed off and landed in front of it, never missing a beat. With that, he took off down the hall to the left.

Oh, we are so not done here! Erntxt thought, fed up with dealing with the Shadows' new lapdog, taking off after him.

<Let's play the Typo game. Take a shot every time I made a typo in that post. You should be tripping balls by the end of it.

I mean, Whore/White, Crocidile/Crocodile. One time is fine, but it was ALL the time. And us/is.

I actually typed "Whire", but autocorrect corrected it wrong.

Did anyone understand the joke Trexksyl told?>

"All right...." White opened a Light Corridor. "This should take us to the hanger. I would open a Light Corridor to our destination, but I have no idea where it is".

"That was a good one, right? I heard Nire tell Nexas that one before when we met. But Nexas didn't understand the joke".

<I got the joke. Sort of.>

"He didn't? His misfortune then."


Dispatch stepped through the LC, saying, "Well, how do we get there by ship then?"
<You forgot Royal/Royle.>

"Right...." White sighed. "Nathan? You know something?"

"Yeah. Nire had to explain that the koala thought the crocodile was the lizard.

<And I even fixed a typo. Lizzard/lizard.>

<I liked the joke...>

Aleri took out his wallet and checked. "I have 3028 Munny left... Heck, we could get watermelon, if we wanted to, but nope! Maya's word is absolute!"

<Hey, did anyody else know why they mention Watermelon in KHII, near the beginning, and why it's so expensive? In Japan, see, Watermelon is really expensive, and it's considered the pinnacle of treat foods in summer.>

Nathan stepped through the LC.

<I just thought they were trying to make the characters seem more realistic.>

Maya nodded, "Yeah! Can we please?"

Lance smiled, "We've got time wh- " His sentence was cut short as Maya's clothes switched to a school girl's outfit.

Thalia smiled seeing the tortured look on Lance's face (Looks like he's faithful as always.), "Maya, is that really necessary?" Then, Thalia's clothes changed to mirror Maya's. Aleri's and Lance's changing into uniforms also, "Maya!" Thalia groaned.

Maya giggled, "Yeah! Now, we all match!"

Aleri shrugged. "I'm cool with this. ...I have a slight headache, and I can't seem to see quite right. Are we all wearing girl uniforms, or is it just me?"

Lance laughed, "I think it's just you that's seeing that. You're wearing a guys' uniform. This jacket isn't half bad either." He commented as he fixed the collar of it revealing a golden number two and a checkered pattern.

Aleri shook his head. "Ugh, I think being inside Maya's head disoriented me a little... Funny, I'm sure I've seen this uniform somewhere... But not in Twilight Town. Definitely not. So where...? I think it had something to do with a serial murder case. I saw a file on it at one point. Moving on... Uh, which way leads outside? And, er, where can we get ice cream?"

The Eternal Clock

Gunamnex, hesitant to break off contact with Yuki, broke off finally after hearing his name mumbled between her breaths. He looked into her eyes deeply.

"The moonlight shines radiantly through those eyes. I hope you'll let me enjoy this sight forever more someday." He said with a faint whisper.

Yuki suddenly felt the world around her freeze up again. Losing her balance, she tried to reach out to Gunamnex, who caught her in his arms.

"Sorry about that, its a side effect of staying here too long." Were the last words she heard, blacking out in his arms.

Gunamnex summoned a light portal, walking through it slowly, carrying Yuki like a princess. He appeared back in the residence of the Dark Bloodline, time there still stopped. Walking towards the family members assembled, he bent down and laid Yuki carefully upon a wall that lined the award ceremony grounds. Standing back up, he bid farewell to the sleeping maiden with a wave of his hand, walking out into the snow and disappearing from view. The world around Yuki unfroze and resumed its pace once more.
