TITAL 2: Why did It Take Me So Long To Do This?

"So," Athez says as he holds up a muffin, "She couldn't possibly hear me say 'Junior has a muffin in his hoodie pocket?'" As he says this he puts the muffin in Junior's hoodie pocket and flees to a safe distance.

"YOU SONOFA-" Junior was cut off as he was tackled for the baked good in his pocket which was hastily devoured. Mimi had him pinned to the ground with a small smile on her face that said, 'more?'

"Well, that was fun."

Junior had to use his demon to pry the girl from him as she became more and more dissappointed that her feast was over.

"So, Athez, want to explain to me how I got this?" Minato asked showing a long scar of shark like teeth along his hand.

"That would be Mimi. She's going to be staying at the house for a while. Would you mind holding this for me?" Athez smiles, places a muffin in Minato's hand and takes a step to the side.

A game of Monkey in the Middle began as Minato and Junior tossed it back and forth trying to not lose a hand.

Athez, with an insane gleam in his eye, just smiled and whistled a jaunty tune as he started juggling muffins of various flavors.

Athez was immediately lambasted across the face with a frying pan as the demon girl took all of the muffins he was juggling, not letting a single one hit the ground.

Looking up from where he's laying, Athez just smiles and says, "You're a pretty fun person, Mimi."

Mimi didn't respond and only toppled over rubbing her stomach and regretting the egregrious amount of baked goods that she just consumed.

Jumping to his feet, Athez smirks at Mimi. "Maybe try to pace yourself a little bit."

Mimi haphazardly throws a clothes iron at Athez with a glare that said, 'You caused this.'

Sidestepping the iron, Athez just smiled in a way that said he did and he's glad. "Now come on, get up." He reaches out a hand to help her back to her feet.

Mimi pinches down on Athez's hand with a vice-like grip and then pulls herself up with ease.

Smiling, Athez starts for the house and heads inside.

Mimi clacked her claw as she watched Athez walk off with blood dripping from his hand.

"Athez, you okay?" Junior asked.

Looking confused at Junior, he tilts his head to one side. "What do you mean?"

Junior pointed at his hand, "Dude, Mimi nearly cut your freaking hand off. You can't feel that?"

Holding his hand up to examine it, Athez responds, "Not really. Once the sensation of pain reaches a certain threshold, the nerves sending the signals are shut off. I can't feel anything that hurts more than a small cut."

Minato looked on, impressed, "I'm guessing it has to do with your electricity powers, right?" He healed his own hand then set about doing the same for Athez.

Mimi was still shocked by the fact that Athez hadn't reacted to the wound she had inflicted.

"Yeah, it does. Been like that for as long as I remember. Useful in a fight, don't ya think?"

"Either that or incredibly dangerous, you could keel over from blood loss out of minor wound if you got too damaged and didn't realize it." Minato pointed out.

"That's probably why Xavier would make sure I was never going solo." Flexing his hand now that it's healed, he smiles at Mimi. "It's not that big of a deal Mimi. No need to look so shocked."

Junior laughed, "She's more surprised that you didn't feel it. Usually, I'm the only one she can't get a reaction out of because." He showed his skeletal hand, "I'm all bones." He laughed.

Minato raised an eyebrow, "Are you, by any chance, Grim's son?"

"No, he's the son of the Easter Bunny." Athez said with a smile.
