The man laughs heartily and steps into a pose that puts his body sideways to Stein's, with his right arm at his side, and his left, and forward, arm raised upwards at a forty-five degree angle, palm open. He twitches his fingers at the joints, an offer to get an ass-kicking.

Kailee knocks on Tacitus' door and says loud enough for him to hear beyond the wooden frame, "C'mon, get up! It's time for the trials. The guy from yesterday is up and at it, so get ready." The sound of her footsteps can be heard receding.

Tacitus' nose twitched and he sat up, and stretched. He sat shirtless, and swung his legs over the edge of the bed. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, looking out the window in his room.
