Org. XIV (story)

"Then, make yourself scarce." Lance said decisively.

The young king scanned the crowd before him.

"Everyone, be ready. I suggest light training and the like to keep yourselves active..." Lance frowned, "I think the battle will be soon upon us."

The Felix screen nodded and made himself invisible to the others and said, "Thanks, Lance."

Aleri sighed, turning to Sylvia. "...Okay, I see what you're getting at with the whole mind-reading thing. Remind me not to do that if we run into each other again."

"Besides, if the universe collapses, we're screwed. And, for the record, we're not sure whether we're talking about the universe or the multiverse. If it's the multiverse, then there's nothing to fall into if we survive, but fail." He pointed out, not exactly helping with the whole morale thing.

"...Er, well, uh... not that we're gonna fail. I'm pretty confident about that. I mean, think about it. He may be unbelievably powerful, but there's more than thirty of us against just him. Three of us alone is a destructive force that few can stand against, and with five? X-Sigma would be the only one to survive against that kind of power. Mulitply it by six and he's a dead man."

"I hope you're right there, Aleri." Lance noted before addressing the congregation as a whole.

"Everyone, be ready. X-Sigma could attack at any time and we're going to need everyone's help... I can tell that much." Lance said with tenacity, "Prepare for the worst so we don't have to deal with it."

<Wow things seem to have gotten slow as of late.>

<Weeeeeell... what was the last thing you remember happening? I mean, the topic's moving so slowly, catching up should be a cinch if you haven't lost your place. And I don't think White/Light was involved in anything.>

<He hasn't. None of your characters have been interefered with, to the best of my knowledge. And dude, I think Fate Gone Awry might move a little faster if we weren't always waiting on Kyouko...in other words, don't expect it to speed up before we're out of Hollow Bastion, could you just roll with it for now, please?>

<^I've been waiting for someone to do sonething so I could actually use Kyouko.

Last thing I remember was like, Sylivia and Ranger meeting up and going to a tavern with Aleri where Aleri whipped his hair nearly knocking three people.

What's going on at the exact moment>

<Dispatch is nowhere, Aaron is in his room, Daniel's around, Ichiro's somewhere, and everyone else is preparing for the fight with X-Sigma.>

<Lance, Maya, Archer, Sylvia, and Aleri are all in Castle Willright, taking part in a meeting reminding them to prepare for the fight, Vita - who you probably haven't read about yet, since you're so far behind - is currently MIA, Rexial was last seen blowing off his obligation to train Sammy and Naomi, and is available for all kinds of wacky hijinks and helpful subplot resolution. Xeromus is probably in Castle Asylum somewhere, resting. Adachi and Uchi are currently doing normal, not-involved-with-saving-the-universe stuff. Sorry, I don't know where everybody else is...>

Aleri nodded, enthusiastically shooting his fist into the air. "Yessir, King Willright!"

<Oh right. Daniel rejoined The Division and Trexksyl is watching him.

But then he trashed the room, and X-Sigma appeared. Care to remind me exactly happened? Trexksyl should make a reminder.

White needs to do something ASAP with the others.

Zane is on his date with Sally which was planned to move much faster since I have a "Ending" to the end of the date. Tie up loose ends involving Sally and Zane. >

Along the path of Celestial Grounds, led the group of young Keyblade wielders of the Datk Bloodline.

Yuki, Sarrushu, Homura and Byakurai. A training session held by retired-Master Yami is held outside.

"So, just because half of you passed the exam you might think yourselves the hard part is over" She said pacing back and forth to the students standing straight side by side.

"Well think again. That was the easy part! It's only going to tougher, harder, and more strict. You're going to wiping sweat from your brow, you're going to exuasted, uou'll faint from lack of sleep, and you'll collapse from hunger. That goes to those who passed, and to those who failed the exam need to work twice as hard to catch up! Do I make myself clear!"

"Yes, ma'am!" All the students said in unison.


But from a far, a boy wearing all white with a mask was far from a distance, almost unseen from the snow. And then the boy White disappeared.

<I'll let Nebula add in Adachi here if he wants. Just assume he was here for the speech standing with the students.

Also anyone remember Ryuketsu's story about his first time at the tea place? Anyone remember the jist of the story? If anyone is interested I'll look up the actual post and actually finish the story.>

I forgot about Aleri Vs. Siks. That is the last thing I can remember. >

<Right, X-Sigma went back somewhere, and I'm not sure I've said much about Daniel since. Should we assume they're just back at the castle by this point, then?>

Adachi gave a curt nod, ready to begin.

I haven't been training with my cousins much lately, have I? They were all preparing for the Mark of Mastery Exam... I had best keep up with them!

Sylvia rolled her eyes at Aleri's enthusiasm, before crossing her arms with a wide smirk. "Sure thing, 'Captain Lance'," she emphasized the title with a chuckle before looking over at the other citizens gathered in the room. "So how do we get this thing started? Training regimes, groups, that sorta thing? You need to give your crew something to do before we set sail, ya know."

"Sarrusshu!" Former-Master Yami called out.
"Yes ma'am!" The boy with long blue hair answered.

"You have passed the exam. You are a Keyblade Master! Start acting like one! You act like a student. Change that!"

"Right...." Master Sarrusshu answered.

Out of Yuki, Sarrusshu, and Homura, only Sarrusshu held the Keyblade right now....

The Engulfted Angel.

"You still haven't dismissed the Keyblade since I gave you the Reth Orb. Have you?" She asked.

"No I haven't. I even slept with it in my hands".

Yami stared for a moment, then turned.

"Master Kuroyuki!"

"Yes, aunt Yami!" She answered.

"I am a retired masters. I no longer are eligible of having students not under the same bloodline. I give you the title of my seccsessor. You may train Keyblade Wielderd, as well as Keyblade worthy individual. Do you understand?!"

"Yes!" Her voice could not hide her happiness or excitement.

"Adachi!"

Oh no, I'm next Homura thought over.

Adachi snapped out of a slight stupor. He had been staring at the Reth Orb, fixated on it. It wasn't that he had never seen it before; quite the opposite. However, the sound of his name pulled him back to reality, where he was facing Master Yami, standing with his fellow students, his extended family.

Congratulations, cousin Kuroyuki... I hope you become even greater than Master Yami- no, greater than Master Ryuketsu!

"Yes, ma'am?"

Yami gave a stern look. "Don't think for a minute you missing the exam gives you any slack. You missed it, not failed it. Which means you work harder then even Byakurai and Homura! But even then I could rank you barely higher then Homura. Now tell me, what is your reason for missing the exam?"

<I'm confused. We need to get like a family tree thing going on to keep track. We'll both try drawing our interpretations. We should try drawing the faces, with a branch off connecting them.>

The young man refused to flinch, standing firm. "...I felt that my heart wasn't ready for it. Now, though... I feel that the roadblock I faced before is gone. I am ready to play catch-up with the others."

<I could work on drawing one up, but I'm not totally sure what all the family members look like. It'd be easy to write their names under the boxes, in case the faces are unrecognizable, or I can't draw them. I actually tried doing it once to show the relation between the cast of Org.XIV and my cast for One Sky, One Land, One Ocean.>

<That could work. I could describe their faces in detail, as well as picture reference.

Sarrusshu is the easiest as he was originally Riku, but then other starting using Riku for other things. Like, eating on the beach. And that one post made the whole character destroyed. So changed the name, and only looks like Riku>

"Homura!"
"Ugh" Homura stepped back, face bent.

"You are weak, unmotivated, unintelligent, lazy; a sloth gives more movement. You waste so much potential. Use your potential".

"Yes....yes ma'am". He looked down.

"Yuki, step forward."

She did as she commanded.

"The rest of you are going to fight one on one! Byakurai and Adachi. And then Sarrushu and Homura. The two winners face off. That winner faces Master Kuroyuki. Understand!"

<Er, I'd apologize for that, but I did say that they were still hanging out on Destiny Islands, untroubled by the goings-on with Heartless and Nobodies and the like.>

Adachi gave a curt nod. "Yes, ma'am." Immediately locking his eyes on Byakurai, he stepped into position, summoning his Keyblade, Sinister Truth, sliding into his usual fighting stance - Keyblade held behind, angled forwards, legs slightly apart, body turned to the right just a bit.

"I am ready." He asserted, mentally psyching himself up for a fight.

<Nah, the first mention of Riku was him eating a paopu fruit which angered me in many ways.>

Byakurai turned back up and summoned his Keyblade spinning it slightly, then brought it down.

"And begin" Yami called out.

The other back up far back giving room.

Adachi continued to stand there, waiting for his opponent to make the first move. He knew that, if he made the first move himself, it would be clumsy and leave him open to any number of counterattacks. He had to get some sort of feel for Byakurai's way of fighting before he could make a successful plan of attack...

Byakurai dashed low and slashed vertically low.
