Aleri tripped on the edge of the pipe, falling face-first and sliding after Zed. "Owwww..."

Zed turned and laughed before running faster without a problem

Aleri stood up and brushed himself off. "H-hey! Do you even know where this pipe leads!? It could lead to a sewer, or an underground death castle, or the meeting place of some bizzare cult!" He chased after her, slightly more on his guard, just in case anything lurked down there.

"Scared?" Zed called over as she crossed over to a odd platform form. She slowed down and looked at the edge. It was a bit like the tunnels of Twilight Town on the inside, except it was built for hardcore skateboarding and other badass sports.

Aleri grinned in reply. "Since when am I scared? I beat down Festus without a hitch! The guy's nothin' but dust!" He alighted to the platform Zed was standing on. "...Wow. This place would be great for skateboarding. Too bad I haven't in months, and my skills a all rusty... That, and my hair's way too long. Knowing my luck, it'd get caught in the wheels. And I don't have a board..."

<Skateboarding is required knowledge for teenage residents of Twilight Town! Otherwise, Al probably wouldn't know. Probably. His original character was better suited to it than his current.>

Zed walked toward the opposite walk and picked up a board with her tail then brought it back to Aleri. "Give it a try, I need something to laugh at"

Aleri accepted it. "Huh... Well, l'see how it turns out." He checked the wheels on it, carefulyl making sure it wasn't defective. "Why was this here...?" He put one foot on it, ready to go.

He launched himself forwards, then up the other side. He flew into the air, then came back down, and shot back up the the first platform. Aleri landed on it, kicking the board back into his hand.

"Well, I guess I'm not so bad afteraaaaaAAAAHH!"

He fell over backwards, hitting the curve with his head, then bounced onto his face.

"Owwww..."

Zed laughed dispite Aleri's pain. Then she slid out her tail to help him up. "I'm guessing that wasn't planned?"

Aleri gratefully accepted the help, and was back on his feet in no time. "W-well... Generally, I don't plan my own injuries... Afterall, reality takes care of that FOR me. In fact, I have about five hours left before I have to have completed a dangerous mission. If you want, you can come along, see how badly I screw it up."

"Aw thanks Aleri, that'd be great, if I was human I'd hug you but ill just settle on this" She nudged him back off the platform

"What'reyoudoingAH!" He exclaimed. He tried to kick off and land on the other side to regain his balance, but ended up falling face-first at the top of the ramp. He slid down, somehow managing to remain upright, putting his whole weight on his face.

He reached the bottom, then fell onto his back with a dazed expression. Then he opened his mouth.


Outside, a civilian, who had been walking nearby, heard... something. An awful, terrifying screech. He started running for his life. Only some evil, demonic creature could possibly have made such a terrible, pained scream of agony.

Zed laughed at his pain and then did the unthinkable. Transformed into an almost average teen. A blonde hair girl in a white dress and leather sandals. She had cats eyes and sharp teeth still and her tail was seen swaying in the.back of her dress. "You sound like my eldest brother whose mate is the more powerful one and always hits him" she said giggling. She hardly seemed fazed by her change, even though she looked about 16.

"Ow... That's ever-so-slightly creepy. Weird... I thought you could barely talk. Oh well." Aleri got back up and pulled a bottle of Elixir from his pocket. He rubbed in on his face. "Elixirs solve a lot of problems. Drink one to get rid of fatigue, rub it on a fresh burn to heal it, drink it to restore stamina."

He drank what was left of the bottle. "Man, it's like a super energy drink. So, uh... Yeah. For the record, I'm pretty sure all the females in my family were more stoic and tough. I can't remember so well, though... My memories are a little screwy."

He didn't seem all that fazed by her transformation. He WAS pretty used to crazy stuff like this...

"Odd, if your so screwed up, how come you haven't jumped off a bridge or something crazy?' She asked as she collected another skateboard and examined it
