Re: Winds Blown Differently
Glancing between the Corridor and Filia with a confused expression, Athez asked, "What's so scary about it? It's just a little dark."

Riku shook his head. "It's not dangerous at all. I use these all the time. And besides, it's not like I have a reason to make something that kills people indiscriminately."

Re: Winds Blown Differently
"I-I don't know..." Filia said quietly.
"Filia..." Samson said in irritation, his eyes knitting in anger.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Athez sighed softly before replying, "Chief, we need to get back to the house and this thing'll get us there. Just follow, please." With that he turned back to the Corridor and took a step forward.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
"Hey!" Filia shouted in surprise willing Samson in to action.
"Filia? What the hell?" Samson shot forward latching ahold of Athez and dragging him out of the portal. The remaining momentum forced him to collide with Filia knocking both of them to the ground.
"P-please... Don't go in there..." Filia pleaded.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Athez pushed himself off the ground and stood up. Glancing down at Filia, he offered her a hand up as he said, "If you are really that opposed to using that thing, I guess I could just teleport you with me back to the house."

Riku sighed. "Well, I can see there's only one way to prove my point...Rexial! You go in!" he made to shove the "Skillful Swordsman."

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Filia didn't respond beyond a pitiful yelp as she grabbed Rexial with Samson's help and towed him from the portal.
She looked at Athez pleadingly, "Please..."

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Grabbing Filia's hand and pulling her to her feet, Athez draped an arm around her shoulders and gave her a grin. "Well then, hold on. Oh, and Gregory, I apologize for what's about to happen." With that, the two figures disappeared in a flash of light.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
"What're yo-" Samson was cut off as they appeared at the house in a flash of light.
"Thank you. I forgot... I never learned your name." Filia smiled.
"Call him, Mincemeat!" Samson shouted angrily. The reason, he had become an afro in the jump, leaving both him and
Filia looking rather strange.

Athez took a quick step back as he started to laugh. "My...name...is...Athez. Nice...to...see...you...so...uplifted...Gregory."

"You have three seconds, Athez..." Samson growled.
"I suggest you run."Filia said pitifully not able to control the raging parasite.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Riku sighed. "I can't be that untrustworthy, can I?" he said, before walking in and appearing right beside the others. "Seriously, you people? Seriously? I'm really not scary!"

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Wiping a tear off as his chuckles died out, Athez grinned and bowed as he stated, "I suppose this is when I need leave so, adieu," and flashed away once more.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Rexial quickly followed Riku, and while he lacked straight-teleportation, he COULD run. Really fast.
"I dunno, Riku. You might be a little scary to some people. I mean, look at your face. Kinda intimidating, you know?"

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Filia shook her head as Samson cooled off due to Athez's dissappearance, "Sorry... I didn't mean to imply you were scary... I just... Don't like the dark..." She admitted.
Re: Winds Blown Differently
Athez reappeared behind Filia with just a faint crackle of electricity to mark his passage. Smiling to himself, he poked Filia in the back of the neck and simply said, "Boop."

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Filia screamed as Samson shot out knocking Athez into the wall.
Filia shook a little quivering, "Please... Stop..." She pleaded.

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Smirking from his place against the wall, Athez replied with, "Sorry, I never quite know when enough is enough." With a glance at his hand, which was sparking intermittently, he continued, "Gregory, got something for ya in my shirt pocket. Really hope it doesn't break." With that, his eyes rolled up in his head and he fell forwards onto the floor.

Rexial scratched his head. "Er, uhhh... let's be honest, I don't get the impression that you DO smile. Much."

Re: Winds Blown Differently
"Lovely." Julie sarcastically stated said statement, and she giggled.
Meanwhile, Blake was watching the two. He was a bit mad at first when Julie, what seemed to him, sold herself out. But, as the two continued to talk, he saw more about Minato. To Blake, at first he thought Minato was a manwhore. But now, he knows he may seem like an ass at first, but he can be a nice guy.
-Blake's Understanding has increased!-
<Edit: Please tell me I did that right. Also, sorry for not replying earlier, I had two mental and emotional breakdowns today>

Re: Winds Blown Differently
<...I'm going to avoid questioning the breakdowns for a minute and focus on answering that. I'm surprised, but you did do it mostly right. The correct way of saying it would be:>
>Your Understanding has increased.
<Since you need to clarify whose Understanding increased, you're clear with that change. The exclamation mark at the end usually feels more correct, and since I use it when I mention Sync Rates... it doesn't seem out of place. The only thing I'd recommend keeping in mind is using that inverted bracket. Persona 3 and 4 used them for any text boxes placed in the narrative that were not spoken words, and it's a quirk that should carry over to any text-based medium. Really, it's a minor detail, but it helps a LOT. Also, just for future reference, those stats can also 'greatly' increase. The word order?>
>Your Charm has greatly increased.
<...Hey! Don't give me that look, I know that somebody without prior knowledge could get that wrong! Anyway...>
Rexial turned and looked at Blake. "...How did you get back here so quickly? I could've sworn everybody else teleported or something... ah, details! You feel like going a round or two? I didn't get a decent fight in the tower, and I doubt we're going to encounter anything too tough for a while. Er, unless you're not really the type who enjoys fighting. I suppose I'm actually in the minority, in theory, but when you gather a bunch of strong people, they tend to have that trait. It makes sense, since the fight-happy types would see a lot more action, and grow stronger with their own drive, instead of stopping when they finish whatever task spurs them on."

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Blake hopped up in surprise once more, spilling his tea. Before it hits the table, he goes limp, possessing the tea, and putting it back in the can.
"Sure. I won't use my ghosty powers on ya." He chuckled like a maniac once more.
"Buuuuuuut..." His eyes glow green after he said this. With a booming voice of low timbre, he spoke.
"Come Sashama, Blade of Ghosts!
Your master beseeches your awakening from your ethereal grave!
A challenger approaches before me!
Lend me your power!"
And with those words spoken, a shortsword replaced Blake's katana. His eyes returned to normal.
"Sorry about that. I just wanna use this instead of my katana. This was my first sword; I got it when I first died. She's seen me through many battles."
Julie overheard Blake.
"He called the sword a she..." She burst into laughter.
Blake's eyes narrowed towards Julie. He then said to Rexial,"So, who's picking the venue?"

Re: Winds Blown Differently
Rexial waved Julie away dismissively. "Men can get pretty attached to their swords; it's a male thing, girls like you probably don't get it. Much less robot girls." He summoned his own blade, the Dream Sword, into his hand. "Let's take this outside. It's not like we need any fancy location for battle, anyway."
