Lei casts Flare on his sword and lunges forward with all of his might behind the jump, swinging the blade diagonally down and to the right, performing a Reversal at the last possible moment to avoid a counter and add to the strike's momentum-

<Which wouldn't make sense, as it is a series staple that Meteor be a high-level spell. If it were a physical attack, then why not call it Meteor Crush or something slightly different? And why would Skife know a PHYSICAL skill like that when he's a MAGIC specialist? Get technical with me, and you'll get a Bahamut Laser to the face. It's a d*ck move to use something from a game I obviously have not played by playing off an assumption I would make based on Skife's specialties and my knowledge of the series. It would be clever if it were just used in the right place...

...Or, you were just expecting me to have known that. I didn't. I'm not going to call it a girly game or say it's stupid, that's not why I haven't played it. It's really because I haven't gotten around to purchasing the copy at the local Gamestop yet. I actually mistook it for FFXII when I went to buy that game... common mistake, I'm sure. I bet FFXII-2 doesn't get the same confusion, though.>

Nebula: I think he's just distracted by their antics, and the fact that I am a cheating bastard. Mostly the former, I'm sure.

*Nebula and I jump away from each other, unsure of where Lei's attack is directed, though Nebula is the implied target.*

Lei: -momentarily confused, Lei barely fails to react in time and takes several shots to his shoulders and torso. Closing his eyes and focusing, he casts Curaga on himself, sealing his wounds and ejecting the ammunition that was stuck in his left shoulder- Well then, you're a feisty one.

-Lei pushes off to one side, then, as soon as he hits the ground, pushes off again, continuing to do so in a diamond pattern, his form invisible except when he kicks off against the ground, creating a movement illusion-

Felix: *begins firing different spells at Rekoka* IF YOU'RE SEXUALLY FRUSTRATED, FINE, BUT STOP WITH THE PUNS! ALSO, I CAN'T STOP YELLING!!!

Rekoka: *Jumps and lands on the ceiling, continuing the chase from there* Can't stop me! 'Sides, I think Xiruk would be pissed if I failed to chase down the horrible man who committed the crime of speaking the two names in one sentence!
Rexial: If you need help, I could stab you in the throat! That would stop you from yelling, either permanently, or until you heal it!
Rekoka: And those aren't puns. They're double entendres, phrases that can easily be interpreted in two ways.
Rexial: And when the hell did Rekoka CATCHING me become a good thing in the narrative?!
Rekoka: Since Xiruk got pissed for what you said, and sent me after you.

Nebula: [Analyzing...] Is this supposed to scare me?

Nebula: (I can't use Chakrams for this... man, why does my Weapon Copy System even need to warm up?! That doesn't make any sense! It's connected to my brain, it shouldn't go cold! Is it just for dramatic tension?! Bah!) *Takes aim and pulls the trigger... but does not release it, building up energy* Let's see, now... *Releases the Charged Shot, a giant blast of energy in Lei's direction.*

Lei, in the process of performing his move illusion, promptly stops at the position farthest from where the shot is headed and lunges straight for Nebula, aiming for a stab to the stomach region.

Eques: *watching Rexial run from Rekoka from the air* I'd help but I find this too amusing *spawns a floating popcorn machine and starts eating a bag of it*

Nebula: *Generates a Saber in his left hand, parrying the stab, levelling the Buster Shot Gun at Lei* ...That would'be been an excellent move, if I were restricted to only generating a single weapon at once, or if I simply carried weapons. A shame.
