Fate Gone Awry

Dispatch kept up his smirk. "Well, then, let's get searching. The place is linear enough, if you know where you're going. Lucky enough, I do."

"I'm still trying to figure out why we left Asylum," Siks injected, "Even more so just where the hell we were just now. Anyway, I don't know who all was at the castle, but I'm pretty sure I saw Zane while we were fighting, and Kotank told me he saw Sally leave after giving Axel a beating."

Dispatch grew serious. "Right now? We're at Hollow Bastion, formerly Radiant Garden. I know the place inside out. Before, we were at Kingdom Hearts, and we can't seal it because we're short one Keyblade. Long story short, I'm thinking the balance is screwed. But hell with that, we're gonna fix it, right?"

"Sure," said Siks, "But our first priority is finding the others. Zane's probably lost in the castle somewhere. Either that or he corridor'd out."

"'K'hor-idord'? Is that your way of transporting to faraway places?" Adachi wondered aloud. "...Er, no matter. Let's go looking for them. Don't worry, I think I'll be able to tell them apart. The enemy party has an air of malice about them that you are without." With that, he jumped back onto the lift and went straight back down to the bottom, moving much faster than before.

Once down there, he made a dash for the underwater entrance, to see if anybody had wandered down there.

Dispatch jumped, landing just as the elevator touched down and continued alongside Adachi, though he appeared to be exerting no effort. "Corridor'd. To transport out by use of a Dark Corridor, a shortcut between worlds through the Realm of Darkness. We all use them."

"Never heard of it." Adachi said bluntly, tapping the bubble that would normally take them through, Kyouko had frozen it, so there was no guarantee that it would work as before.

Dispatch looked at the ice sideways. "So, how deep is it frozen? Because I may or may not be able to fix it with a few good slashes."

"It's about three inches deep, from what I can tell. Easily removed. Still, the water is bound to be freezing. Are any of your members vulnerable to water or cold?"

He thought for a moment. "With us? Don't think so." With that, Dispatch drew his sword and cleaved the ice effortlessly in half, revealing the bubble inside. "And away we go."

Kyouko never got off the lift, once down she followed after.

"Master Yami told us about Dark Corridors. You weren't there during the class. She said you need to control darkness to an acceptable level before it being a willing effort, other wise it would some times randomly 'open'. So, me and you still need our Raven Chocobos to open Lanes Between".

Zane walked around the extremely large castle. "Where am I now?" He looked up. Several Soilder Heartless falling down. Zane ducked and let his blades spin like fans, obliterating the Heartless. But that just means they'll reappear elsewhere.

"I was absent? Ah, that explains it." Adachi gestured to the frozen bubble. "...Would you kindly unfreeze this so that we can go back in, and search for their comrades?"

Dispatch stared for a moment. "Okay, one, I already cut it open. Two, raven chocobos?"

Adachi replied in a strangely sarcastic tone. "Answer one: It's still too cold. My brain would be about as numb as yours obviously is after about five seconds down there. Answer two: Yes, Raven Chocobos. Do you not know what a Chocobo is, or is it the Raven part that you can't understand?"

"I know what both of them are, I just don't know how one thing can be both." Dispatch looked at the water and stuck his tail in it. "And apparently, the physics here are broken, since I can do this with no problem." He withdrew his tail, bringing with it the stink of wet fur.

<Okay, I admit it's been a while since I last played KH1, but I'm pretty sure I remember the bubbles thawing pretty quickly and being usable right after.>

<Hence the comment about the broken physics.>

Kyouko walked to the bubble and touched it, making it warm enough for non-Sayians to enter.

"As for the Raven Chocobos". Kyouko inserted her thumb and index finger in her mouth and whistled loudly. A few seconds later jumped a Chocobo from overhead. But not it's normal blond feathers, it was black with a blue tint; the colors of Raven feathers.

It came down and slided, and brush up to Kyouko and she petted it's head.

"This is a Raven Chocobo. We use these to travel not just place to place, but world to world. We open something similar to Dark Corridors once they reach top speed". Kyouko explained then climbed on the back of the bird.

<I made these up nearly 3 years ago, I've shown them twice. =_=>

"Alright, we'd better get moving," Siks instructed, "If the Organization's still here, Zane isn't going to last long." He then stepped into the bubble, followed closely by Kotank and Susan.

Kyouko followed with the Raven Chocobo.

Adachi followed... and then regretted it. With one girl, one boy, one man, one woman, and one Wookie, it was awfully cramped. If Disptach came in, they wouldn't have room for air.

<Little bit bright for a Raven, but that's just me being nitpicky.>

Dispatch laughed at the cramped bunch. "I don't think I'm gonna fit in there," he said. "I'll just follow you. And smash whatever tries to stop me."

<I thought the bubble blocks the entrance to the underground of the castle. >_>

"Ugh! Why did a bring this overgrown animal with us! Oh! Not you!" Kyouko said apologizing to Kotank".

<The bubble takes you through the underwater cave and into the lower levels of the castle. You need to go back and play through Hollow Bastion again. KHI, specifically. No other game featured that part.>

<I thought there was a lift that took you there and the bubbles just took you underwater to get the treasure chests.>

Kotank simply raised his paw and let out a slight howl, as if to say, "It's cool."

"Just don't call him a walking carpet," Siks reassured.
