Ok, I'll go with the sandwich one in first person.

I was sitting in my room. I got bored and began to play guitar. After about thirty or so minutes, I got hungry. Like, REALLY hungry. So I decided to make a sandwich. I got up and walked into the kitchen and opened up the refridgerator, and looked in it. "Damn, not that much in it", I said. So I decide to go to Walmart to get some food for the sandwich. I got some turkey and mayo. Not the generic kind. Miracle Whip. After the journey home, I made the sandwich and ate it. It was delicious.

*continues eating popcorn in anticipation of Haar's response*

In any case, this is amazing HOW? You gave no details about anything except that the sandwich was good. Honestly, I was more interested in what piece of music you were playing...

Although, I get the feeling it was partially because all it was was a sandwich, so...could you maybe pick a topic that will make someone give a crap? Because I'm pretty sure nobody gives a damn about your teleportation to WalMart...

*Sigh* Are you unable to slow down? Yusei is right, you made it feel about... *Mentally checks* ...six thousand times faster than they really were. I did the math on that one. I mean, I had a similar problem, but since I use Novel all the time, I actually improved. You don't get to be better by letting your skills get rusty.

Haar, why don't you write something about a sandwich? Show him how it's done. If you don't, I might.

As for a suggestion Sam, let's see a fight scene. I feel that is going to be the best thing for ME to judge your "amazing" novel skills on.

Agreed. Fight scenes tend to call for the most description, because of characters' complex movements and the typical speed of a battle that occurs here. It requires the ability to balance description with speed, and sometimes even give an image of a movie in slow-motion...though that is rarely necessary and please please PLEASE do not attempt it.

Mind if I give an example? I'd like to see what you guys think of my Novel attempt.

2. Nobody really knows and occasionally we make jokes about lacking any significant scale for time.

It's never really measured by the actual writing length. A whole topic can last in-story for all of two days. Usually, it has to do with current events resolving to the point that nothing else has to happen that day. For some time now, there has been this "One week until climax!" thing hanging above our heads, but we have yet to even get halfway through it. Too many things need to resolve before it can happen.

Aesoth, I would like to see your writing. Please, go right ahead. See, that's the attitude you need to have with this kind of thing. Don't insist that you're good, just ask people for their own opinions about your writing. That gets you less criticism (technically, it sets the bar lower) and more help with improvement.

Sammy, it depends on what is actually being written in said pages. Five pages could be five seconds, five minutes, five hours or even five days.

Laughing weakly, Aesoth wipes the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand. As his assailant takes a step forward, Aesoth grins and says, "Is that the best you got?" The attacker responds with a right hook to Aesoth's face, knocking him to the ground. Trying to give himself a moment to recover and maybe defend himself, Aesoth drags himself backwards, deeper into the alley. "Have you ever heard that saying about cornered animals?" Ignoring what Aesoth is saying, the attacker confidently walks forward, looking to finish the task at hand. As he stoops down to grab Aesoth by the throat, Aesoth's hand wraps around the handle of a discarded frying pan and slams the improvised weapon into the side of the attacker's head. The attacker collapses next to Aesoth, with Aesoth bringing the the pan down on the attacker's head once more before dragging himself onto his feet and stumbling out of the alley and back into the city at large.

I've been reading creepypasta, so those first few sentences sounded REALLY bad at first.

Pretty good. Maybe breaking it down into smaller paragraphs would make it easier to read, and give it a paced feeling. I've seen epic posts ruined by the fact that they surpassed me in the Wall of Text category. Y'know, like a post that's epic, well-done, but so long you just can't read it all without linebreaks.

And the biggest issues I have with it are due to being a grammar nazi.

I got one with Sarah!

I was in my testing chamber. What hellish torture were they going to put me through today? Chemical resistance? Force resistance? I couldn't take it anymore! I over heard one of them talking. They were going to kill me! That's when something inside me snapped. I burst through the glass seperating me from two scientists. I then proceeded to kill them, making my thin white shirt turn red.

Alarms began to go off. I took a pistol from the remains of the scientists, and began to make my way out. There were around twenty soldiers. I fired three rounds from the pistol, and killed the others with Aura. It felt like nothing. Was it from the chemicals, or was it from an external force?

I made my way to the entrance, when I was ambushed by three soldiers in mech suits, about 30 regular soldiers, and ten Minuendoa Kings. One of the mech soldiers pinned me to the wall... and a power overcame me. I began to vent my Aura not at my adversaries, but around the whole room. What was I doing? What felt like seconds was sheer torture to them. When I was done, they were dead. All of them. I then proceeded to pile their bodies and leave for the city, after stealing a shirt from a soldier.
