Daisuke nodded calmly as he pulled his hand away from the pile, "Alright, let's head back for now. We'll be back as soon as we can." The young man turned around and headed back from where they came from. It didn't take them long to make their way back out of the short way into the labyrinth that they had traversed. Crossing the threshold back out onto the strange spoked island, Daisuke took a moment to examine the group again, "Weird, we're recovering now... Maybe something about the area beyond the door keeps that from happening. I think we can go back in again as long as we aren't physically exhausted."

The young man put a hand to his chin and looked towards the Velvet Room door, "I'd still like to see if we can get some information from them, there's just too much left unknown yet."

"Agreed. Knowing is half the battle, they say. ...Where did I hear that, again?" Yoshiya straightened out his shirt and brushed off his pants.

Shaking his head, he started for the door, adjusting his posture and tidying up his appearance as he went. "Er, never mind."

The door to the Velvet Room swung open revealing the small night club within as the group took a step inside. They were each greeted by their individual attendants and guided rather forcefully towards individual tables. Once seated, the attendants collective looked into the eyes of their master and spoke in a strange monotone that shared the same inflection as their chorus of voices filled the room. "Welcome to the Velvet Room. Please, present your palm." Then, each of the attendants demonstrated, laying their hand flat on the table, palm up.

Shin smirked, looked at the others, then rolled his eyes, sighed, and placed his hand out on the table as well.

Abel took the time to shoot Igor a glare. The hell's this supposed to be? He tries anything, I'm gonna fuckin' kill him. Still, he laid his hand on the table, the same as the rest.

Yumiko wasn't ready for the sudden turn of events that essentially boiled down to some kind of synchronized greeting party. She was incredibly uncomfortable about the fact their attendants had just forced them all to a table and simultaneously asked to be shown their palms with their voices showing no sign of personality. On the other hand, Yumiko did not want to risk anything bad happening if she disobeyed... so she presented her right palm for Bruce to see.
