Rexial: *Snaps his fingers, sealing the closet door shut with darkness* ...But I respect the ideals of Saint Valentine. He was a courageous one. Takes a real man to stand up to the Roman government. Or an overpowered SOB like me. I think he was the former.

Kazuya: With ya all the way on that one. Valentine's Day exists only so that card companies can make money.

Rexial: *Places his thumb on his ring finger and double-snaps, catching Rekoka in a DC, dropping her out of one on the ceiling... the second snap moving the first DC to the floor below the second one, dropping her in an infinite loop, a la Portal* I can't believe that commercialism would tarnish a great man's name like that. Saint Valentine had serious balls. And now, we've either got people thinking it's all swell and dandy, and people who hate it. Most of whom don't even know about the guy, I bet.

Kazuya: *shrug* What floats your boat. I just don't think we need to make a big deal. In most European cultures, every saint has a day, not just a few arbitrarily-chosen ones.

And this from someone whose parents are BOTH Irish. Also, St. Patrick was not Irish, apparently. He was, however, Ireland's patron Saint.
