Jessie: *asleep, floating on the water's surface*

Karen: Im good, thanks for asking.

<He's pissed at Sammy more due to his "I'm the best even though I'm magic." attitude. Rexial's info only compounded that. The girl he likes choosing Sammy over him makes it worse.>

Xavier: *shrugs* Not to much of an issue. Just have **** on my mind. So, what's your deal? You look like you've got something on your mind too.

Emil: No...not really. It's just, I don't really know anyone here. I'm not even entirely sure how I got here...

Rexial: (...How did she fall asleep that easily? And she probably shouldn't be sleeping on in the water...) ...Okay. Anybody have a stopwatch? No? Well, I have a PDA in my coat pocket. Xavier, could you get it for me, and use it to time us? Oh, Sammy, is Jessie altered in any way that prevents her from drowning in her sleep? 'Cuz I think you've let en- I'll bite my tongue on that one. I'll just, uh... >:\ ...put her... back on dry land. *Swims to the shore, goes over to his coat, removes the PDA* Alright... *Selects the Stopwatch function and tosses it to Xavier* That should work rather self-explanatorily. *Picks up his coat, shakes the sand off, then spreads it like a towel in the shade of the palm tree* (Geez, this is awkward.) *Hurries back to where Jessie is, and picks her up, hurries over to his coat, and sets her there* Okay, no threat of drowning now! Xavier, you ready? *Jumps back into the water*

Karen: *laughs* she was fine. *points to where she was asleep* see? she must of finally learned Aura Manipulation. She made a thin layer of Aura to keep her floating.

Sammy: (waaaait... Mass Tornado+Aura...Meep!)

Rexial: *Picking up on the slight distress in Sammy's thoughts* ...Hm?

Xavier: *nods* Sure, you guys ready on your end?

Emil: *turns to look at everyone*

Rexial: Alright, we see who can swim one hundred meters fastest. No magical powers allowed. Xavier's on the stopwatch. actually, I also had Sukiru set him up with one that will automatically stop the instant I get across the finish line. He'll be in charge of your time. Any questions?

Emil: Why do you keep changing the rules?

Rexial: They never CHANGED, per se, since I hadn't said the rules before now. They may have changed in my head at one point or another, but this is the first time you've all heard the rules for this race, and you have no way of proving that I changed them from the original intention.

Emil: You said Xavier was going to use the stopwatch, then you, then whoever Sukiru is. So, you changed the rules.

Rexial: I never said I'd hold the stopwatch. I just got it out of my pocket for Xavier. Sukiru is going to use a SECOND stopwatch, so we can get BOTH of our times in one race, instead of us competing one at a time for the best speed.

Emil: Oh...I'm sorry.

Rexial: Don't be sorry. *Aheh,* You're making me feel like a total jerk. All I did was point out the rules. Xavier! Sammy! You guys ready?

Emil: Oh, I'm sorry...
<Over-apologizing.>

Rexial: Stop apologizing, man. Do it again, and I may find a reason to make you sorry... perhaps a little blackmail? I'm sure that if I had Sukiru dig around, he'd find records of something embarrassing in your past...

Emil: I-I'm sorr--I mean...okay. (He reminds me of Richter...)

Sammy: ? I said i wasnt racing.

Rexial: Oh? I could've sworn you said you would... Aw, nuts. So much for the race. >Sukiru, the race is off. Cancel plan Scare-The-****-Out-Of-Sammy. And I was so sure it would work...<

Rexial: *Cracks his knuckles* Okay, who was it who said they'd race? I'm sure somebody said they were game... *Aheh* Sounds familiar. No, that wasn't the line. He always said "Game on". That guy was one tough fighter.

Daniel: I'm sure it was me...
