Org. XIV (story)

White took a deep breath with his eyes closed. He lifted his right arm up, with an open palm straight a head. He took another deep breath. "They work the same" He whispered. A small echo sound formed, a big light, but no. Just White's arm blade. He took noticed to it. He sighed. He shook his head.

Rexial spoke up this time. "You need to visualize a path through the Realm of Darkness to where you're going. Er, well, for you, visualize a short stretch of walking through an intense light. Think about where you want to go. It helps if you know which direction all the other worlds are in, because making a Light or Dark Corridor, I often walk in that direction, just to feel like I'm making progress."

He sighed and attempted to re-spike his hair. "Sorry, Al could teach you in ten minutes, tops, but me? I only know mental tricks."



"Oh." What, they have a different supplier now? Strange. Strange... but exciting! This whole place is fun. He finally caught back up to the conversation. Being well-versed in Magicks, he was able to respond for Lance. "I believe it may be a ball of energy from either his world, from the one who freed it, or it contains both of their energies. Or maybe it is just a message, or a prearranged signal."

<Whats Up what the hell did you do to get banned?>

Lance nodded, "Yeah, this is definitely a highlight of the day." He smiled and continued to try to contact Soren.

"So then, the world that had fallen into ruin returns anew." A man said sitting on his throne, watching the rebith of Synthisle though what looked like a portal. "And I almost though the incompetence of my son and those dark imitations had lost this worls to me but know....." The man whos power rivaled that of a god simply smilled at the out come. "I will watch and see if this world could truly be of use to me."

The orb slowly shifted into the form of a man, it was two heads taller than lance then it's clothes collected around it's body, but all that remained cloaked in a personal shadow was it's face. "That will not work anymore, Willright...The body of the Prince had to be sacrificed along with his enemy's to seal the two realms forevermore." It whispered in a deep, slightly gravely tone. Almost like someone was speaking through a messed up stereo system.

"What!?" Aleri exclaimed. "Who was lost!?"

Lance felt a crushing weight, "Soren's... gone?" He ground his teeth resisting the urge to yell out.

"I should've been there for him. This is MY fault." Tartarus appeared in Lance's hand unwillingly as he subdued his inner anger towards himself and whatever had done this.

He stormed out of the tea shop angrily, the contempt and sadness he felt was shrouded in his hood.

"Lance! Wait!" Thalia called after him but he ignored her.

Aleri's shoulders sagged. "...I wish I knew what was going on. Who's Soren?" He looked at Ryuketsu, hoping for an explanation that he knew wouldn't come. "Ugh... Urgh..." He fell to his knees a sharp pain driving itself through his chest. "What is...?!" It feels... like one of my bonds has been cut. Like a friend just perished. But how... is it that I'm hurting... from the loss of someone I... don't even know!?

"I'm not sure who he is, but I'm sure he was that boy's friend" Ryuketsu answered before Aleri felt the strong pain. "Whoa! Pull yourself together!"

The young tea shop lady, Lucy, has been watching silently this whole time.

Kyxcir was quiet. He didn't speak word.

Rexin talked over. "What happened to cause you to lose a friend?"

The shade regaurded the boy like he was curious. "Aleri...we were friends long agl...but I was a mere shell. Now I am just a messenger and a gift giver for this one moment." He knelt as he drew out a keyblade. "This is Broken Soul, Soren's final forgery, it is yours to take and conquer in battle with." He said. The second orb flew after Lance and Thalia then it formed a face that would freeze them in their tracks. Soren's face. It cut Lance off directly but this was the mind of the prince, this would also fade without the body.

Erntxt looked at Rexin quizzically. "What do you mean?"

Aleri stood back up, clutching his head to hold back the pain, which was now subsiding to a dull throb. "And why are you giving it to me, again? How do I know Soren? I don't recall even meeting such a person... in the last six months. And before that, I was just another nobody (lowercase 'n', just making that clear) kid in Twilight Town." He took the blade, unsummoning it.

The shade straightened up. "You must be careful though...That has the power to create Avon crystal. That is something deadly for your enemy as well as yourself. It shall attack those who think they are unworthy or are truly ruled by madness". He warned. He rose slowly. "Now, if you wish to learn to use this power as your own. You must come to the Crystal Caverns. There you'll find a new ally and teacher. " then the soul flickered and gripped the edge of the table as he touched his heart, his physical heart. He looked pained. "If you don't remember Soren, do you remember Rexson" he said through grit teeth. Time was short, he had to return to his origins now. "Just try to find Leo" then he disappeared in a wave of ash.

"What happened to your friends?! Why did you just toss them away like garbage?! How did you lose hope?! Why did you give up?!" Rexin yelled at the member.

"You just don't get it, do you?!" Erntxt shouted as he walked over to the blonde, "They aren't my friends. They never were. I'm not Trent Darkhold. I'm his opposite. I'm not like the rest of you. Now if we're done here, I'd suggest we get ready. I don't think that mercenary's done yet.

Meanwhile, back at Beast's Castle,

Wayne approached the site of his battle with the Nobodies, miraculously uninjured, aside from a few cuts and bruises. He was sporting a pair of high-tech goggles, and was scanning over the area with them. "Where are you?" he muttered to himself, before a particular energy residue crossed over his field of vision. "Hello." The mercenary held out one hand, "Now if I can just match that frequency... There." A Dark Corridor opened up in front of him. "You're not gonna ditch me so easily," he said as he walked through the Corridor.

"Rexson, Aleri... I'll go after Lance." Thalia said quickly explaining who Soren was before leaving the tea shop in pursuit of Lance.

-Meanwhile-

Lance sat on the ledge of the clocktower over looking Twilight Town he had cooled down considerably since he'd left Astral Town but was still in a state of depression.

"Tch. You're really gone huh?" He spoke out loud talking to himself.

<i> Stop moping!</i> Maya's voice perforated Lance's thoughts as the young illusionist appeared from his shadow sitting on the ledge next to him.

Lance gave her a small smile, "I'm not moping. I'm sad... Soren's dead."

Before he could continue Maya interrupted him, "So? Just because Soren's gone doesn't mean anything. Maya thinks he wouldn't want that. You need to keep going Lance. No matter how much it hurts..."

She walked out into the open air above the station donning a military ceremonial uniform and saluting Lance," Your people need a home and a leader... Thanks to Soren, they've got a home."

She jabbed a finger into Lance's chest as her disguise evaporated, leaving her in her normal clothes, "YOU have to provide the other half!" She suddenly appeared beside him again, "So, buck up. Maya believes in you. Thalia believes in you."

The rousing speech seemed to have no effect on Lance, "What good is a king that let's his best friend die?"

<Feel free to have your characters talk to Lance up on the clocktower anyone.>

"That's like asking me, who am I to leave my friends to save the worlds, or why did I let it come to this" The mind of Soren in mortal form was sitting next to Lance, a slight grin on his face. "I had to go okay? But I'm not totally gone, I wanted to gift you something very special, but You, Thalia and Alice must raise it, and Train it." He said. He looked at Maya, then his grin wavered. "Enixo is still alive you know? It was his fate to destroy your world, not to kill me, or revive it. He revived it from it's void. " he said. He never took his eyes off Maya. "He's also in need of a saving grace, think you know anyone that can save him from himself?"

Maya dissappeared into Lance's shadow, "She hates Enixo if that's what you're thinking. She'd never trust him. Let alone talk to him." He explained the illusionist girl's sudden disappearance.

"Why does she hate him? From what I've heard he's in love with her" The dead Prince said. He looked up to the red sun. "It's quite amazing...isn't it..." he started but sighed. "Your despairing over me.when I was too busy working with my killer. You mustn't mourn over my sacrifice, it's a waste of precious time."

"I don't think the feelings are reciprocated. Her Mind's still warped Soren. She probably won't ever accept anything beyond the first impression of a person." He explained.
