<Wow, wth?>

Nexas struck multiple times with the final attack pushing him to the ground. "That's it! That's what I wanna see! More!"

White coughed.

Kyxcir srared. "She mean WHO are you. Not your names".

Brick sighed, "Maybe if you'd put a little thought into what I said, you'd have realized that we aren't going to give you that information. Now, if you would just tell us what we want to know, we'll all benefit from it. Trust me."

"Why should we answer to someone who clearly doesn't want to reveal their information" Kyxcir said toward them. "Beat it".

"Because if somebody doesn't stop Erntxt, we're all gonna die!" Brick shouted angrily, his grip tightening on his blade, "Now either tell us where he is, or we'll beat it out of you!"

<"wth" is right. Xeromus has shown NONE of his ability before this battle. He's had six months to practice and prepare for this, and hardly did anything else in the meantime. Other than napping and sort of half-running the castle.>

Xeromus was slightly perplexed at the reaction. "More...? Well, it was your request, so it's your end." All eight of him flickered out. After a few seconds, four of him came in from different angles. One aimed to rip open Nexas's stomach, another was trying to pierce his throat, the third was trying to wedge his blade between two of the Nightmare Shinigami's vertebrae, and the last one was standing back a ways, holding his scythe at the ready for something...

<Darn it, now I want to duel Xeromus as well, lol>

Each strike was stronger then the one before as the Nightmare Shinigami groaned and grunted from the intense attacks.

After the final strike Nexas was really wounded. He attempted to ran but only limped away from the three.

Nexas held his throat as he breathed heavily, out of breath. But then he grew a smile. Not a smirk. A smile.

He used his scythe to keep him balenced. "Now..." He spoke between breath. "Now it's a fair fight!" He panted evermore. He swollowed the spit in his mouth and shut his eyes closed. No doubt feeling the effects from the blows.

He slided his scythe and sparks flew. He limped over to the Reaper. Slowly and slowly limping over. Holding his throat with his left hand, and his scythe with his right hand, the blade moving along with him. Scratching on the rubble.

He moved slowly but finally was within reach, lifted the scythe by one hand and slashed vertcial down to Xeromus.

For a second, it looked like the slash had connected... And then he was behind him. Xeromus rapped the blunt end against Nexas' spine. "Never be so straightforward when fighting an enemy who teleports..."

Nexas fell to the ground. Panting just as before. "Never give advice to someone who controls this universe". Nexas raised his hand and snapped his fingers. The body of the Shinigami then vanished and was gone.

Zane just sat there. Staring at the rain pouring against his face replaying the scene over and over again in his head.

Zane held Sally in the bed staying peacfully still both enjoying each other's presence. "Sally....you still awake?" Zane asked in a small whisper.

"Hay there little Ivy!" A voice erupted behind Ivan and Lance. For a small moment it looked like Ivan started to twitch. "We are the same age you idiot so there is no reason to call me little....or Ivy." Ivan the turns his head still keeping his keyblade pointed at the chasm. Behind the two someone with a odd mask. One half of the mask looked like it was smilling while the other looked like it was frowning. The masked boy then lifted his hand to cover the smilling side leaving only the sad looking one to be left. "Uhh, Ivy why do you have to call me an idiot? That really hurts?" He said with an odd mixter of sincerity and sarcasm. The masked stranger then took his hand of his masked and crossed his arms while tilting his head to the side. "Why are you opening an Ouroboros's Gateway?"

Lance looked quizically between at the new arrival, "Who are you?"

(sorry. XGeass I honestly forgot what the hell Lance was doing beyond helping Ivan somehow...)

Alice recoiled from the blast and fired a dark firaga following with three strong slashes.

The Blizzard Knight walked forward like nothing happened. Then surged forward frost appearing behind him.

Xeromus tapped his foot in irritation. "Stop ignoring me and come back here!"

<I had to go back and check the last thing that happened in the fight... Since Nexas has disappeared, I can't exactly DO anything about it.>


Aleri woke up in bed, screaming. "AAAAAAGH! ...Hang on... I'm not... dead? Or maybe the Afterlife looks just like my room. That would kinda suck, to be honest. It's also highly improbable." He got up and looked out the window. "Huh, it looks... different outside. No, more like it FEELS different. Maybe... maybe it's 'cuz Rex died..."
After a couple of minutes, he shook out of his stupor and opened the window. He got outside and sat on the windowsill. "Man... It's really weird, knowing that half of me is dead... does that make me half-dead, or maybe undead? No, I was never dead in the first place. How could I be UNdead?"
He continued his self-rambling as Rexial walked up the side of the wall.
<Y'know, 'cuz he's an expert in the ways of screwing gravity.>
"...So I'm alive, just partially dea..." He stared slackjawed at his dark side walking up the wall. "How... How in the name of Kingdom Hearts did you survive?!"
"Who, me? I'm a shadow. I can't be killed." I CAN, however, be hurt badly enough that I'm unable to maintain a solid form.
"Awesome! You're not dead!" Well, forget all those other theories I had... I'm not even partially dead!

They came up the stairs to the roof. Rexial spoke up first. "Hey, we're back. Since we can't actually WATCH the fight, we may as well start the training. Let's go immediately, Max, Kizu."
"We'll be departing from the front lawn, so come along." Aleri started walking to the stairs with Rexial, assuming they were following.

"What is it?" Zane asked a bit of concern on his face.

<Let me retcon Nexas' last action>

"Never give advice to someone who controls this universe". Nexas snapped his fingers as the world began to shake and rumble beneath. Nexas stood up and turned to Xeromus. He lifted his Scythe and rushed The Reaper and slashed in a combo, 3 horizontal slashes and finished with a Vertical.

He backstepped to avoid the horizontal slashes, but the third one glanced his stomach, and he failed to sidestep the vertical slash. "Hrmph..." Curses... he's wearing me down! He's visibly injured, though. I imagine that I can take him out without much trouble at this point...

Nexas quarter-spun his Scythe smacking the end into Xeromus' face.

-Flashback-

A man rolled in the rumble holding a scythe in his hands. "Dammit" He hushed under his breath as he stood on one leg.

"Joshua!" A woman screamed holding a scythe as well.

"Don't worry, Sarah. I'm o-"

The man was caught off from what he saw. The woman was being held down by a psychaotic man with long black hair. He grabbed her face and was almost sucking the life out of her.

"Sarah!" Joshua yelled.

Sarah gasped and lost breath as the light and power were of hers was visible and being drained. And suddenly there was a echo like sound and the woman's pupils turned dull. And she transformed into a different being. A ghostly being with a sheet like robe around her body, but there is no sign of features of any of her former self.

Joshua stood in shock and fear. The psycho turned to Josh with his piercing blue eyes. He summoned his scythe and rushed at Joshua in a high speed.

The psychopath known as Nexas has both broke and connected the bonds of this couple.

Gunamnex and Roland continued their walk through Celestial Grounds, chatting casually.

"You know, one of those connected to the Arks family tried to test me shortly after Lance returned to Synthisle." Roland said as he yawned slightly.

"Did you test him yourself?" Gunamnex asked with a slight raise of an eyebrow.

"No, he simply sent a blade at me. I broke it shortly after catching it, then left for Halloween town." Roland said, making a motion with one of his hands to illustrate crushing the blade.

"I see. That family is starting to cause chaos again after so long." Gunamnex said with a sigh. His thoughts began to drift towards the figure they were following.

Roland chuckled at the sight of his dear comrade being lost in thought. He produced two flasks from a pocket and handed one to Gunamnex, who came back into reality with a sudden jolt.

"Drink up, it's getting a bit cold, and this is our favorite brew." Roland said before beginning to down his flask.

Gunamnex looked down at the flask for a moment, then raised it to his lips. The liquor warmed his insides immediately. His aches started to drift away.

"Thanks" he said as he handed the flask back to Roland. Roland smiled and put both flasks back inside a pocket.

"No problem. Now, let us see this exam to the end."
