Hence the "but I can't put it up because it's not on YouTube."

One: No, I've tried. Even the videos for the credits sequence got silenced. And I somehow think it's the work of whoever Utada Hikaru works for, because I don't think it's Square Enix. There's another instance of an artist insisting that their song not be put on YouTube, while it happens to be part of the ending to one of their games...

Two: Sorry, we're going for relatability. It would be very strange to beat Kingdom Hearts and have the JAPANESE ending song playing instead. Plus, I'd have to find the Japanese lyrics to put up, and then I'd get overzealous and find a translation to put up with it...

Y'know, lyrics-wise, I gotta agree, Hikari is better. But I have more preference for Simple and Clean, if only because of how often I've heard that right before playing the game. My brain associates Simple and Clean with Kingdom Hearts, and because I love KH so much... 'nuff said. Once again, though, looking at the lyrics, Hikari has better ones.

...Yeah, I just looked up the lyrics for Hikari, and I have to agree. It completely resolves all the issues I had understanding the English lyrics. By ignoring them in favor of the better version. But, still, Simple and Clean is preferable in this instance. I mean, we could probably work Hikari in somewhere, but...

Alright, who wants me to stop dragging my heels and write it up? Also, who wants me to post it in this OOC Topic as well, so they don't have to hunt for it, if they really don't care about hte intended effect? After all, it's supposed to go after the X-Sigma fight, right before the timeskip, so it should be read in context...

Ugh, and I'm reading the archives, and I can barely make sense of them! I felt guilty that I hadn't been reading Xancel and Rexson's stories, but now I remember why I didn't: you guys wrote walls of text without breaking it up. And now it compels me to get started on the rewrite for Org.XIV's first five topics, but for that, I need cooperation from all of the writers who were a part of it, as I need to include all the elements they want to work in there retroactively, and cut out anything that was retconned, and I don't really feel the MOTIVATION, just the COMPULSION. And I really want FGA and One Sky, One Land, One Ocean to get moving again... bah.

I'll be honest, I felt like I have up completely on everything.

I lost motivation for a lot of RPing.

I need to get motivated again.

And yeah, I say we all got better at writing stories and looking back we are awful. >_>

If you need motivation, try doing this:

Play some KH,

Then, look through what's already been written for the shorter ones, or just go back a dozen pages and read from there on the longer ones,

And if that doesn't motivate you, you need to listen to more appropriate music while reading. Once you start writing, you'll want to continue, hopefully. Try looking at the older archives, see how bad we all were before, and take it as a personal challenge to do better.

I wouldn't say I'm lacking motivation, but definitely running lower on ideas than usual...it bothers me.

Same here. It's part of why I haven't updated Sky, Land, Ocean. I don't really know what to do with it.

See, this is why I planned out a good amount of my story in that one ahead of time. Can't say the same for FGA, though; I'm totally winging it. I have short-term plans for Rexial, no idea what to do with Adachi but return him home until he's needed for something, but I do have some long-term plans. VERY long-term, as in, stuff that would be bonus content if it were a game.

Alright, I've done it! It took a coupl of hours, hunting down names for the second part of the credits, and I'm just too tired and lazy to do it for part one, but here it is! I've already gone to the original post and edited it in, so it' preferable that you look at it there, but if you're just too lazy...

You… really went all out with this. I'm impressed.

But, now that that's out of the way, I think it's time we address the elephant in the room. I'm not betting on Yusei coming back anytime soon. The guy's had his fair share of long absences, and I don't think it's in our best interest to sit around waiting for him. I think our best options are to either a) have the wedding off-screen(off-page? post? Whatever?) and maybe do it properly as a flashback later on when he does come back, or b) go through it without him. I'm more inclined to do the former.

I don't want to see it half-assed just because he's not here. I say wait until he's back regularly and do it in flashback form. My vote goes to option one.

Probably former. I was going to intro Avantus after the ceremony anyways, so this just accelerates my plans a bit.

Well, I wouldn't have procrastinated with it if I didn't intend on putting forth some serious effort. ^_~ Thankfully, coming the old topics for names wasn't too hard. It was tricky to locate them all, thankfully at the start of Topic 5, XGeass posted links to 1-4, so I gotta thank him for that.

I was gonna suggest that we stall for time with flashbacks that we were going to do later anyway, but this work better anyway, so long as we transition it well. I was thinking of a few things that I forgot to include earlier in the story, like Xeromus making everybody train under Phil at Olympus Coliseum (which, of course, wouldn't work out for various reasons on both ends; half the members would probably be pissed at the decision, and Phil wouldn't take so many trainees at once, and definitely not in such a formal manner).

I mean, I can picture a couple of characters who would probably work well with that kind of dynamic, but they also have reasons why it WOULDN'T make sense. Namely, Aleri and Dispatch. Aleri is trying to become a Keyblade Master, and would focus more on learning important moral lessons and better Keyblade form, while Dispatch would probably laugh at Phil's regimen. Then again, try to compare a Saiyan to a True Hero with the strength of a god. I figure, it might be fairly even, but Herc's a lot slower than Dispatch, but I like to think that Hercules is basically the most physically powerful character you ever see in the KH series, and if he appeared in Org.XIV, then he'd be the strongest here, too. Just not the best fighter, or most powerful in general, as he lacks magic, has relatively human speed (by real-life standards, he's probably pretty fast), and isn't a seriously tactical fighter. He only thinks when he can't win by brute force.

So, long story short, Hercules would beat Dispatch in an arm-wrestling contest. But, Hercules would be crushed in a fight with Dispatch.

And now, I've forgotten what that had to do with this. Nuts.

Well, then, how do we skip to post-wedding? Perhaps we could cut to a scene elsewhere, and then cut back to Rexial and Thalia attempting to free Lance and Soren?

That might work. Depending on what we cut away to.

Well, that is what I'd agree with... except that literally cuts my plans clean in half.

Well, would you rather wait until Yusei is back, and risk everybody losing motivation, possibly killing Organization XIV's momentum irrecoverably? Okay, that was a bit dramatic, but we want to move forwards, not wait for Yusei to come back so we can write everything in order.

So, what DO we cut away to? The Observers have pretty much established that they're watching the proceedings, so that option's out. Perhaps we could pre-emptively introduce the next major threat? But, then, what IS the next threat? Perhaps we need to invent some new villain, big enough to be a wake-up call, but not REALLY so huge in the grand scheme of things?

I also want to show off how Organization XIV itself would work when everything's operating smoothly, with Xeromus actually giving orders and members not being too busy to take them. I mean, we all know that the cast is a force to be reckoned with. Now picture them strategically dis-assembling an enemy force with precise coordination, working with maximum efficiency. The thought of it makes me smile. Sadistically, in regards to how screwed said enemy force is, but the idea of the whole organization working together as one is amazing, too. Of course, it would basically mean that I would be telling each character what their short-term objectives are, and hope that everybody's on for some stretch of time.

But I digress... so, should we use the chance to introduce a new threat?

Fair enough that you want to move forward, but yeah, new threat sounds like the way to go.
