Org. XIV (story)

"Hm Sworn enemies no... they were fated to duel to the end of time because Xetus wanted enternal life, but not before Soren's father linked his soul to Sorens, one way the Ravain were able to follow him ofcourse. Xetus got what he desired but only if Soren fell in battle, I guess the desire to enter infinity and rest for all time is a good cause. Soren saw things we couldn't sometimes...other timesd he glimpsed into the fates of others, I guess he knew you were to weild that blade and that he would fall eventually with his immortal foe...but that's just a theory."

"Sounds dead-on. Well, let's finish this."

Nathan was still playing Angry Dusks when he had noticed that Xeromus was in the middle of a heated discussion on his little Org.Xiv member cam special area. "Xemnas... I killed him." Nathan said. <I'm pretty sure he did> He was close to CA, so he landed the Gummi Ship in the hangar and ran to his room to leave Fritz there, who was sleeping. He ran out to the sidewalk (I'm assuming they're on one) and noticed the man who was apparently was named Hartz, and was sired by Xemnas. He tried not to be noticed, he just wanted to see the orphan he had caused for himself. He turned around.

<Note: I want him to be noticed.>

He stopped at a room filled with statues

"You haven't begun to see my strength!" yelled Hartz as Dispatch released him. He turned toward a quick turning movement he saw out of the corner of his eye. Someone was back there. "Show yourself!" He threw his lance toward the motion, and on contact with the ground, it lit itself on fire, illuminating Nathan.

Xeromus looked and saw Nathan. He smirked. "Oh... Well, Hartz, you're right ****ed now. Nathan, take his ego down a few notches, but let him live. And, remind me, it has been so long since I saw the report. Which member killed Xemnas? It would seem that this child thinks I did. I wasn't there, actually. A couple of jackasses opened the way to Kingdom Hearts, if I recall, without bothering to consult me first. I'm pretty sure YOU were one of those two. I wasn't told about it until after it was over. I'm sure Rexial would have notified me, but he was floating in oblivion somewhere at the time..."

Nathan turned around and absorbed the fire emanated from the lance. "I am.. Your father's killer." Nathan said. "I was one of those two, Xeromus. And I'm almost sure I killed him." said Nathan, releasing the flame towards Hartz followed by a burst of stone summoned by his Ancient Magic.

"My ego? You're the one saying I don't have a chance!" Hartz jumped over the fire and picked his Flame Lance from the ground. "So, I can see this lance won't be effective." He put it away. "Then give this a try." He pulled out a throwing Axe and chucked it at Nathan. As it <passed/hit> him, it released a bolt of lightning. <Fire Emblem Logic: Fire>Wind>Thunder>Fire. And the Flame Lance/Bolt Axe/Storm Sword are all FE weapons>

<I don't remember Haar and Skazza's characters everr fighting each other... This could be interesting. *Munchin' popcorn*>

Xeromus DC'd to the sidelines. "I'll leave it to you... Remember, don't kill him. Let him live. If he ever comes to fight us again, though, use lethal force."

<You know, everybody else seems to picture Xeromus with Kenpachi's voice. I always thought he had Uketake's voice. Or however you spell it. Oo-kay-TAH-kay. Lemme look it up... "Ukitake". I was close. Note: His voice sounds like Kain in FFIV DS.>

<I didn't see. It was too brief. All I can really do is remark about the statues... YOU'RE the test administer.>

Aleri looked aroung at the statues. "Wow, uh... Ugh, my vision is all blurry. What are these statues of?"

<...You weren't very specific.>

<I...have no intention of losing.>

The axe hit Nathan and released a bolt of electricity. It cruised through Nathan's body, and the hole in his skin reformed. The bolt of electricity coursed through to Nathan's hand, who released it into the air. "You fool..." Nathan said, shooting a ball of AM Water to the electricity and directing the combined elements towards Hartz. "Think twice, bitch." Nathan said summoning his keyblades.

<Haar, it wouldn't make sense that Nathan (an extremely powerful master of Fire, keyblades, Fistfighting, and just plain kickass) would lose to the randomly showing up son of Xemnas, who is on a quest for revenge. Random characters who show up out of nowhere get ZILCH when it comes to storyline impact. You should've had a brief scene before this where he showed up in silouette. No, that's not enough... you should've shown him tracking us down. That would do it, I bet. Of course, the way you presented him, he looks like an idiot with extremely limited skill and strength. The type to die in seconds in a fight with Nathan.>

<Trust me, he's a threat. And what I was going for is that he's so good at following people that we never notice, but...PoV, yeah I know. Whatever though, I'll make something happen with him.>

Hartz put away his Bolt Axe and pulled out what appeared to be a green sword. Swinging it, he released a burst of Wind energy that pushed the bubble toward Nathan. "Who's the bitch now?"

"Still you." Xeromus said, his voice carrying over to the battlefield.

Nathan fired a blast of fire at the water, evaporating it instantly. He started slowly walking towards Hartz. "You're weaker than your father. Nothing you can do will phaze me." Nathan said, continuing towards Hartz.

Leo waved his palm across the open air. The dust flew off the staues, jade, emeralds, diamond and ruby statues of men. They had weapons, some posed to defend, others in mid strike, and a few on thwir backs, cowering. These men shared the same feature, the fear, the shock, and the pain. Whatever test they faced here was ultimately the end of the road. On the far end was a bright golden and beautiful throne in the dark, sinister test zone. "This is the hall of Festus, the final test. Face the nightmare creator and live and you be deemed master of Over Focus abilities. So far only two could win, those are me and obviously Soren. And if you fall to him...well...just look around"

Hartz held his Storm Sword at the ready. "We'll just see who's weak. I never got a chance to test myself, and thanks to you I never will. For that, I want your head."

Just then, X-Sigma appeared between the two. "Hartz. Don't."

Hartz said, "Move."

"I'm afraid I can't do that. Trust me, as you are, you're outmatched. I've fought most of this Organzation on my own, and most of them are stronger than you. And as my employer, if you die, I don't get paid."

"You think I care if you get paid after my death? Not that it'll happen."

"Whether you care or not, I need the money."

"For what?"

"I'll answer you for 30,000."

"No thanks. Just get out of the way."

"I can't do that."

So this is the feared X-Sigma. Rexial and I could probably take it out, but I'm not cocky enough to take him on my own. Dispatch and Xeromus are here... No. Xeromus gave me a order to take down his ego, so I will. Nathan thought. A stone wall formed around Hartz, than a roof formed on it and it started collapsing. The stones were heavy and near unbreakable but they wouldn't kill, not under his command.

"X-Sigma?" This is troubling... X-Sigma was able to break Rexial, and take on Siks, Aleri and Rexial all at once. They barely kept him away from the barrier... Xeromus texted to Nathan's PDA.

[Fall back. X-Sigma is a powerful opponent, and he could kill you on your own all too easily. He took on Aleri, Siks, and Rexial all at once, an still got away without any serious injury. Let me put this in a way you'll understand... If we get in a fight with X-Sigma right now, WE ARE BONED. Retreat for now.]




"I won't be joining 'em!" Aleri shouted in defiance. I'll never be a part of this room... And if I go out, I won't be a sniveling wimp. I'll stare Death in the face if it must be so!

Nathan heard Xeromus's message. He threw the stones away from Hartz. He swore in the Ancient Language that he would kill Hartz and X-Sigma one day. He turned away.

Rexial nodded at Lance. "Right." He heard a beeping noise. he looked at his PDA. "Huh, Xeromus sent a text... huh? It's addressed to Nathan, but me too? This doesn't have anything to do with m... X-Sigma!? ****ing hell! Lance, I gotta run!" He generated a Dark Corridor and dashed through.


Rexial came out as Nathan swore in the Ancient Language. "Damn!" He spat. He saw X-Sigma. "Damn!" He saw Hartz. "DAMN damn!" He yelled.

<Guess the reference. This one's a little more sly...>

"I advice you to hold your gaurd and stay on the path then. He lurks in the shadows" on cue the darkness seemed to shift and growl

Aleri began to walk towards the throne, holding Broken Soul in his hand, ready to handle anything. He snapped the fingers of his left hand, giving off a slight magical spark. I'm not going to lose, no matter what. I just have this feeling that I need to return, urgently... Like all reality will be screwed if I fail the test. Or maybe it would find a way to compensate. Who knows? All I can do is be ready for anything...
