I appreciate and applaud your efforts, even if I can't listen to any of them just yet... Edgar, what are your thoughts? I know it's a bit much to listen to all at once - hell, it's kind of impossible for you to have listen to all of them by now - but I'd like to hear what you think of the tracks.

I'm usually much more descriptive when I post up songs, so people know what they're in for, but that's just me. It's kind of hard to write up descriptions en-masse.

IMO, this would be a good boss theme. I used it for a post in my ~noncanon~ P3/P4 fanfic. Perfect theme for fighting a Shadow.

I sampled each of them, just a few seconds from the start, middle, and end of each song, and I picked a fair amount of them... I'll post a link to the whole list of what I have for various tracks here so you can get an idea of what I'm looking for.

...By "looking for", you meant for the Homestuck RP, right? Somehow I doubt you wanted a whole bunch of those kinds of pieces for the other one, considering the setting.

It doesn't tell me much of what to look for, either, but I DID happen upon a piece that might be interesting, whether it really fits or not. Also, I still haven't check any of Cost's suggestions.

(Was that his nickname? I forget... bah, hell if I'm calling ANYBODY "Cremator", and "Crem" is just to... I dunno... odd. It either changes the pronunciation of the syllable, or sounds like "Crème/Cream".)

Oh whoops, my mistake Zeldaman. I only saw "Homestuck RP" and "music needed" when I first saw your message. Also, you are the second person to refer to me as Burninator. Reminds me I need to talk with the first, it's been a long time and I've left that guy hanging for too long.

Actually, it's more that "Cremator"... just doesn't sound like a name. Heck, "Cost" Is kind of terrible, too. I'll just go with what Edgar said and call you Burninator, which makes me the third guy, I suppose. I warn you now, though, I won't get any other references like that one. It's on my to-do list.

Or I could come up with something else. Is "Bernie" alright? Kind of a pun, but it could be worse.

It's not that I'm worried about getting a nasty shock or anything, I just find it easier to keep track of them when there's a title. Labeling things is helpful. Still, I'm not going to try and guilt you into doing it. I mostly got into the habit because I went back into the archives for the RPs, tried to open any music that came up, only to find the video gone, and not knowing what it was, I couldn't search for it on another source. So now I label any Youtube links that come up. It's also quicker if anybody else already knows a track I post up here, so they don't even have to check it to know what it is.

It's just a habit of mine, no need to imitate it, unless you're the type who likes to reread old RPing archives. Then you might feel the incentive to do so, in those topics.


Edgar, I asked because I thought you might want a different tone between the two stories' musical selection, and I needed clarification on which one you meant with the sample. I read your posts, I know you asked for samples to put in both.

You might as well just call me Burner. So Cremator isn't exactly a name? Well I suppose it isn't, on the other hand, it is how I'm identifying myself. For some reason, this is reminding me of a time I was giving a summary for a story idea I had to some friends of mine, but I didn't have a name for the willing, then unwilling, recurring antagonist. So I called him Hot Potatoes. And then I liked that and decided his name was going to be Varme Kartofluer, which is Danish for Hot Potatoes, also it sounds pretty rocking if you ask me.

That stupid story aside, I can now see where you're coming from on the label issue. And I do apologize for that, I was kind of putting the request for music at a higher priority.

I don't know what that is, so making reference to it would be difficult, and I'm too lazy to go to so much trouble to annoy you.

It's not so much that it's just not a name. It's more that it lacks the sort of identity that a name has. Cremator sounds more like an occupation. I don't recall being attached to calling you by your old "Gamer" handle.

Simple. We have a censor now. Apparently words like Burner and Murder aren't allowed to be used. Because yes, I tried to name my Weedle Pvt. Murder but the game wouldn't allow it. So I named him Drill King instead, for he shall become the Beedril who will pierce the Heavens.

On the name matter, your rivals/people who follow you around insist on giving you a nickname with the first letter of your name. Long story short, my character is now referred to as Big D. Giving me mixed messages here Pokemon.
