Lan nodded. "Where's the Nosie?"

Just then, a massive Noise shaped like a black bear with tattoos for arms appeared. ??? clasped his hands together and burst into the air, then a green orb of energy fell down and filled Lan with power. "This is the Light Puck. A concentration of pure energy. To pass it to your partner, and sustain it, fight quickly and vigilantly. It is the only way to eliminate Taboo Noise. I am up in the other side of the Noise Plane. We can stop this."

Lan focused on his Fire Pin then pictured the Nosie on Fire.

A geyser of flame burst from beneath the beast. The glowing orb flew off into the sky. Meanwhile, as the Light Puck reaches him, ??? blasts a beam of energy at the Noise, a Wall of Grizzly type noise. The Light Puck descends to Lan once more.

Lan pictured his fists on fire and jumped at the Nosie.

Due to the low level of the Pin, all that happened was a trail of flame following Lan. As he nearly reached the beast, it threw a car at him.

Lan Swore under his breath and barrel rolled in mid air to dodge the car and pictured the Nioses eyes on fire.

A gray disk formed over the Pyrokinesis pin as the Wall of Grizzly caught on fire. The Player Puck shifted, and, before you could make a move, the Noise disintegrated, leaving behind a red Pin with a radial design. ??? appeared next to Lan.

Lan picked up the Pin. "What is this one?" he asked

??? looked at it. "It's called Onmyo. It lets you use your voice to attack. For most people it manifests as a noisy rock concert. It's pretty high level, but takes a while to recharge."

Lan nodded before pocketing the Pin. "Any more Nosie?"

"Yeah, but let's work on something I find out about my fifth time around. Pin Fusion. Not to be confused with a Fusion Pin, which is completely different." ??? showed Lan an intricate Pin, bearing a design of a tiger with 2 pairs of wings, one purple and feathery, the other resembling the wings on a bird-like Noise.

Lan furrowed his brow. "Pin Fusion...how do you get one?"

"Take out two of your Pins, like so." ??? pulls out two Pins with sleek designs involving spheres and spirals.

Lan took out the Fire Pin and the Water Pin.

"Okay. Now take the Pins," ??? lifted up the Pins he took out earlier, "And crush them together." He smashes his Pins.

Lan raised both of them and did as intructed.

"Now focus your imagination, blur the two together in your mind, and the result will astound you." ??? lowered his own Pins, now one pin with a motif of a blue and white chessboard-patterned pawn.

Lan pictured the Pins blurring together.

Lan opened his eyes and looked at the Pin. It had Black swirls that turned white on one side and Sparks and beatiful thunder symbols on the front. "...Whoa...i'm geussing a Thunder Element?"

"Yes. They are quite rare..."

"How Rare?" Lan asked putting the Pin away
