The Spirit Walkers

Tyson had reappeared a few blocks down, panting. "Damn that was close...I wonder where that guy lives."

Rick jumped down, landing silent and unharmed. "I'll just have to look around some more, maybe find another one." He turned left from where Tyson was, though Rick did not know it, and started walking.

Tyson saw Rick walking away and saw the shadows slowly move. "Not them" He mumbled as two Vampires slid through the walls around Rick.

Rick continued on his way, though he didn't notice the vampires behind him. Coincidentally, he hadn't sheathed his blade either.

The two vampires came out the wall fangs bared. Tyson silently swore and raised gun incase he had to shot one for attention.

Rick was busy searching dark alleys.

Tyson scanned their features through a scope. "Female and a Male" He said before clipping on the rifle barrel and proped the gun on his shoulder.

Rick heard the click and spun around, spotting the two vampires. He cursed loudly before lunging at one.

The Male dodged out of way and in to Tyson's line of fire. He took the shot and plugged it in the back and saw it fall dead. Tyson slug the rifle over his shoulder and ran to the female knowing she was twice as pissed sense he just killed her brother. "Alice." Tyson said under his breath.

Rick looked at Tyson. "You're helping me now?"

Tyson didn't answer instead he tackled the vampire into the wall and jumped back next to him. "Yes" He said before Alice stood back up. "Tyson! your helping a hunter!" She shrieked before drawing a dagger. "We all carry a weapon now" Tyson said under his breath.

"Hunter my ass. I'm just on a routine mission. Okay, not so routine." He tried to run Alice through as he asked Tyson, "Why?"

Alice jumped Ricks attack and deflected Tyson's bullets. "I'm not sure...I guess I'm just a good guy at heart"

"Fair enough." Rick thrust, lunged, and stabbed constantly. This wasn't ninjitsu, this was fencing...

Alice parried Ricks thrusts and dodged Tysons bullets. "Betrayal!" She yelled then shot a fire ball at Tyson who rolled out the way, swearing a little. "Why didn't I bring my materia!" He said still shooting and dodging

"Your what?" Why wasn't he making contact? Rick pulled the cross off his neck and threw it at Alice.

Alice dodged the cross but then Tyson had stabbed her in the leg with his black knife. "My materia I use it for magic, mind killing her for me, im out of bullets" He explain as Alice was frozen in place.

Rick stabbed Alice in the heart. "My mission was to kill a vampire. I'm done now. We should do this again some time!"

"Yeah it was good training" Tyson said before pulling out the knife. "Maybe you could tell me more about where you came from"

"Heh. Sorry, kind of a secret. Leader'd kill me. Course, I can't stop you from following me, I just can't tell you."

<Back at the Castle>

Skife had nothing better to do, so he started to play Train of Consequences by Megadeth on his guitar.

<On Onyx>

Felix called to everyone else, "Let's get moving, we got a lot of ground to cover."

Rick started walking back toward the castle in which the Spirit Walkers were based.

Tyson followed rick to the castle, in the shadows.

<Onyx>

Genova nodded. "You lead then"

Rick said, "Well, we're here. Come on."

THe door swung on but Tyson didn't move. "Ummmm...dude, you have to invite me in"
