A nice balance would be Engrish. Y'know, badly-sung English. The soundtracks to Persona games are mostly like thatm sounding Japanese while having English lyrics... which are INTENTIONALLY hard to make out. Shoji Meguro, the Composer, says it's to make it sound foreign to both English and Japanese listeners.

Burn My Dread sounds pretty outlandish at first... heck, EVERYTHING in Persona sounds outlandish at first, especially the battle themes. Then, you get used to it.

The term "Engrish" is a reference to the similarity between Rs and Ls, and how the Japanese tend to mix them both up. Thus, a Japanese citizen could very easily make the mistake of saying "Engrish" rather than "English". That abomination that you disgracefully posted is what some people like to call "Committing Genocide on the English Language".

Fansubs are always off, and you can have a hard time really hearing the words. Mixing in English with a song often has mixed results. Some fans of Jormungand can't stand the OP, I on the other hand love it.
