Skife walked down the hallway, pulling out his Keyblade and unlocking the door to his room. He promptly went inside and went for a shower.

After knocking on the door intermittently for the past ten minutes, Athez lets out a frustrated noise before stalking away from the door. Glancing over his shoulder, he turns around before sprinting at the house. Just before reaching it, he vanishes with a flash and a popping noise, reappearing just inside the door.

Zero stretched and walked down the stairs, seeing Athez warp in. The boy narrowed hs eyes for a moment, but slid down the banister with trickster, dropping in front of the newcomer. "Can I help you, mate?"

Athez smiled at the guy who dropped in on him. "Yeah, hi. I was in a bit of a sticky situation and somehow ended up here. Do you think I could crash here for a while?"

Skife finished his shower, got changed into a pair of ripped black denim jeans, black shirt, and black sneakers and went downstairs, his blue hair in a shaggy mess. He saw Zero and Athez. "Who's this?"

"Somebody who wants to crash here, we would have to tell Ventus" Zero said, looking at Skife.

Rexial sighed, having crept into the hallway where Skife and Zero had met Athez. "I can tell that this guy isn't going to take no for an answer. Getting Ventus to let him stay would just be a formality, I'm sure. Also- "

The swordsman unbuttoned his shirt, revealing a more plain, white undershirt beneath that, with several belts tied at the waist. He pulled off the button-down shirt, holding it out to Zero. "I don't mean to be a jerk, but you look pretty ragged. Here, wear this until you can get something less mangled to wear."

Skife nodded. "I'll see if I can find Ventus." He vaulted the banister and went to the kitchen, looking to find Ventus.

Zero sighed and took the shirt. "I know, i know Aleri. I'll buy some clothes when I head out, I don't enjoy looking like I killed a man" he said as he took off his blood stained t shirt and jacket and pulled on Aleri's button up. It was a bit looser than what he would have cared for but it worked better than nothing. "Better?" He asked pulling on his jacket again.

Rexial squinted, judging Zero's face. "Hmmm... Yeah, I think you look alright for now. And, for the record, I'm Rexial. The big guy's Aleri." The shirt had been somewhat loose on Rexial, too. "You said something about being a gladiator...? I doubt you have money for clothes. I'm a traveller, so I tend to keep money on hand. I'll come with, if you don't have a problem with it."

"I used to be one, if you don't already know, I'm Zero Shinkō" Zero corrected and nodded. "And if you have the money for it, fine"

Rexial smiled. "I'd be glad to help with the Munny. If anybody who runs your gladiator ring shows up, you'll stick out like a sore thumb in those clothes. Plus, it can be hard for people to trust you when you look - as you say - like a murderer. If you're with me, I can just say you got in an accident or something, and your clothes got shredded. So, just tell me when you're ready to go. Besides, I wanna see how close she is to catching up to us..."

His expression faltered slightly. "I'm a little surprised we haven't run into her yet. She's usually not that far behind."

"'She?' Are you waiting for a girl to find you?" Zero asked.

"Kinda. There's a girl who we keep running into. Either she's following us on purpose, or we just have strange luck. We've butted heads over some minor stuff, like treasure hunting and brief adventures in other worlds, but I doubt she's going to try hunting us down for any of it."

Zero shrugged. "Ever think its fate for you guys to be together?" He said with a slight smirk. He sounded so serious it was hard to tell if he was just joking or not. "Want to head out now?"

"Fate? As if. If fate had its way, I doubt I would've met Aleri. I dunno, there's something strange about it. Like we shouldn't both be able to exist..." Rexial shook his head. "Sure, let's go."

Zero opened up the door and headed outside."I take it you and Aleri aren't exactly brothers" he said over his shoulder.

Stepping out after him, Rexial shrugged. "Nah, not exactly. We have identical DNA, and our energy signatures match almost perfectly. The only discrepency is that he's devoid of darkness entirely. And there are a lot of other similarities between us that don't seem to be hereditary traits, so I don't think we're distant relatives."

The swordsman looked over the hills, his gaze fixing on the city.

"Plus, his memories are a bit dodgy. There are certain things he doesn't remember, like why he's travelling, where he's from, stuff like that. I remember my past, and the thing is, a lot of the details line up perfectly. It's like we're the same person."

"Interesting...also the fact your name is an anagram of his" he said as he walked further into the city. A shadow shifted around slightly behind him. The boy stopped automatically and drew Agni from the air. The shadow settled again and disappeared. Zero sighed and sheathed his blade. "You better run, vermin" he muttered, he already grew sick of the heartless in the city.

Rexial sighed. "Heartless, huh...? They're a real menace everywhere these days. Well, my name is an anagram of Aleri's, but with an X. That's typical naming proceedure for Nobodies. Thing is, I'm not a Nobody."

"How does that work there?" He asked turning to face his companion.

Shaking his head, Rexial crossed his arms as he walked. "I'd normally chalk it up to coincidence. I have never been a Nobody. I've lived with the name Rexial my whole life. That's one of the details that doesn't match up between our memories..."
