"I guess so" Dante said

Vita raised an eyebrow. Okay, that didn't sound right. It could've just been him not finding a good choice of words... but it sounded more like he was trying to cover up. "So... you guys tend to fight with real weapons?"

Aleri half-froze before breathing a sigh of relief. "...Yeah." Phew, at least she didn't guess the whole truth.

Sylvia looked thrown off by Archer's comment, her eyes drawing to Nick. "Your partner's a weird one...", she mouthed to him, before getting up gingerly to her feet. "Ugh. I'm ready to hit the sack. I swear, those woods have got it in for me...", she mumbled bitterly. "I'm going to the castle. No need to escort me, I'll be fine." She headed for the door, pausing to bow her head to the Mage. "Thanks again, lady!" She hollered, before heading out of the cabin.

"Yeah! It's better when we use our tricks and ' special' moves" Dante said

I swear, he does this on purpose...!

This time, though, Vita didn't seem suspicious. Aleri guessed that the idea of special moves had gone right over her head. She probably wouldn't automatically associate such things with magic, like he would.

"In fact, I can show you my weapon"

< *blinks* That sounds kinda...

Agh! Bad self! *facedesks*>

Aleri sighed. "Dante, please try not to freak her out by summoning it in a huge flash of light. We don't want to let people know about that stuff."

Dante looked at Aleri, then reached into his coat, the same rough and worn coat Soren wore, and withdrew his practice sword, the blade was blue and had a number of symbols on it, from greek to lost glyphs, and the hilt was polished silver. He placed his palm on the blade carefully. "This is my sword"

Vita kneeled to get a better look. "Interesting weapon... I'd ask about these symbols, but I doubt I'd really understand an explanation if I got one. It's strnagely colored, for metal... But, then, it is possible to dye metals."

"Yeah. The metal isn't dyed though, it w-" Eoni silenced Dante with the ever so tactful, hand over the mouth. "It's been dyed a bit so the steel is almost icy blue" he said quickly.

"Interesting... There aren't any local smiths or anything, so you have to go out-of-town if you want something like that. Plus, people here aren't so serious about fighting. Seifer and Hayner, MAYBE. There was the time Hayner was gonna fight Seifer with a nail-studded bat..." Vita trailed off. Something about the silence was eerie. As if she had realized something serious.

"Er, are you okay...?" Aleri asked.

"Huh? Y-yeah, I'm fine." She had returned to normal.

Dante shifted and hid his special sword once again in his father's coat.

Aleri looked around. "Well... Hey, wait, when did the sunset actually finish? It's dark. Huh. Well, I'll be leaving now. You two, remember to put away the gear we borrowed in that shed over there. See you guys."

He turned and walked out of the Sandlot.

Eoni and Dante put the equipment away and bid Vita goodbye. Dante and his older companion walked away from the sandlot, in Aleri's direction.

Aleri waited on Market Street for them. "So, were you guys going to head straight for Castle Willright, or do you want to stop on Asylum first?"

"I've got somethings to do, can you take Dante?"

Aleri gave a short laugh. "I'm sure he'll insist on coming to Asylum before heading home. I'm not about to stop him." He turned to the boy. "So, you want to come, or shall I escort you home now?"

The boy smiled. "Take me with you! Or ill get Paul to attack you" He said. Eoni laughed. "Ill see you guys in a few days I guess, it's never easy to make preparations"

Aleri nodded. "Right. See you, Eoni. C'mon, let's go, Dante." He opened a Light Corridor, stepping through.

<Now it's time for me to stop procrastinating and finally contiune with the plot that I desperately want to take care of.>

TCTNW- Gray Area

Erntxt dodged another sword swipe from Wayne as the mercenary continued his relentless, yet somehow very controlled, assault. His moves were quick, yet surprisingly accurate, and it was only by pulling out every fencing manuever he knew, as well as several of his own darkness-based abilities, that Erntxt was able to hold his own. Erntxt already had a few cuts on him, and Wayne had a few bruises and burns from Erntxt's shadow-powers.

They were both beginning to tire as Erntxt decided the fight was beginning to bore him, and that it was high-time the Shadows' hired gun be put to rest. As the two locked blades, Erntxt charged up a ball of darkness around the hilt of his blade and pushed it forward, sending Wayne flying back towards the large window in the room and salmming him into it, the sheer force fracturing the glass.

This'll finish you, he thought, glaring daggers at his opponent. Moving his feet apart and pulling back both hands, each one at an opposite side of his waist, Erntxt gathered as much darkness as he could muster. He'd figured Wayne would be too delirious from the impact to realize what was happening before it was too late.

With one swift motion, Erntxt shot both hands out ward, resulting in a massive ball of dark flame being shot forward at his opponent. Erntxt heard the shattering of the glass and he knew that was it. He'd finally gotten the Shadows' lapdog off his tail.

Panting heavily from expending so much energy, Erntxt turned around to look at the wounded Syxsur. "I suppose you'll want me to get Medic-" Before he could finish his sentence, he felt himself get tackled to the ground while a cold metal surrounded his neck, a quiet electronic ringing buzzing through it. Erntxt's hand were placed at an odd position under his neck. He looked back slightly and, to his surprise found his presumed dead hunter holding him. "How-?"

"Wouldn't you like to know."

<And I'm sure you all would, too, which is why I'm going to explain it next post.>

Jump...stay...run...stay, run, jump, jump stay run vomit crush destroy break insane berserk..."GRAH!!!" Daniel yelled out. He summoned his Keyblade and started to attack everything he could see. The bed, the walls, the window-frame, the windows themselves, the door. Everything near him was shattered on contact with the blade. When he finally stopped, the furniture was in pieces, the walls were cracked, the door hung off its hinges, and the window had gained about a foot in width. He stood there, panting, his Keyblade dragging on the ground, and looked around at his work. "I so hate this place," he whispered so that nobody else could hear. There was no way he was falling asleep. Absolutely no way.

<Er, Eques, I kinda need for Dante and Eoni to leave onscreen for something. As in, actually write the action of them exiting.>

Nathan posted the thread of leave, gathered some items, and was about to leave when Fritz noticed what he was doing. "Where do you think you're going?" Fritz asked Nathan. "Nowhere, not that I know of..." Nathan replied, proceeding to shut the door and sprint outside of Castle Asylum. <Assuming Aleri stepped into Asylum..> When Nathan stepped into Asylum from the castle, he saw Aleri stepping out of the Light Corridor. "Hmph. It would be awkward to see him now.." Nathan tried dashing past Aleri at full speed, but while remaining quiet and stealthy.

<Also, I'm scrapping the Ancient Magic thing. Let's just say he used.. Creative spells in the previous times he's used it.>
