TITAL 2: Why did It Take Me So Long To Do This?

AleriDragon: Well, you figure SOMEBODY here should know about this. What ELSE would I do? I'm sure that I'll run into somebody who can reverse the effects eventually, but this is just the first place I thought of...

Laguna: Well, I could try something...Esuna. *casts Esuna*

AleriDragon: ...Well, that didn't work. Maybe Vexen could help... Nah, he'd rather use me as a lab rat than fix me.

Laguna: Yeah, Esuna only works on ailments.

Kain: Perhaps Dispel?

Laguna: Maybe. It might not be a status effect at all, but hey, worth a shot. Dispel! *casts Dispel*

AleriDragon: ...Nope... Well, you tried. Thanks, Laguna.

-Alternate Scene: If it had been Rexial trying to fix him-

Aleridragon: ...Dumbass. Of COURSE it wasn't an Ailment or a status!

Laguna: No problem. Huh...if it's not a status or an ailment, what is it?

Kain: I'm not sure...Perhaps we ought ask a mage.

Laguna: Isn't a mage just someone who uses magic?

Kain: No. A mage is someone who specializes in magic and performs their best when using it.

Laguna: Uh...was that an insult?

Kain: No, my friend. I simply meant that you are a more physical fighter. We need a magical one...

Laguna: Ah, right. Hm...I don't know anyone like that...Not here anyway.

Kain: Rydia is a summoner, a form of mage. If we find her here she might be able to figure out the problem.

DiZ: *walks into the hallway and sees everyone plus the dragon* -_- Follow me... *walks down the hallway

Kain/Sora/Laguna: *follow*

Laguna: So, who is that guy?

Sora: Him? DiZ.

Kain: Just DiZ? Has he no other name?

Sora: Well, some people call him Ansem the Wise, but not too many.

Laguna: So...is this his hospital?

Sora: I guess so.

Nurse: -_- (And now I have to push this fat dragon's cart to wherever DiZ is going...)
AleriDragon: Ansem? Huh. Well, I heard that he knows just about everything... Maybe he knows how to synthesize an antidote to this? Or maybe he can direct me to some convoluted chain of fetch quests. Either is fine.
*The nurse attempts to push the cart further, but the friction from Al's scales is too much. He cannot be moved by a normal human.*

Kain: It would appear the nurse is unable to move you. I wonder how well you would move yourself with a spear in your hide...

Laguna: Kain!

Kain: I'm merely suggesting that we use my lance as a lever so that the dragon may move himself.

Laguna: Oh.

Kain: Did you believe me to be threatening him?

Laguna: Well that's what it sounded like!

Kain: *sigh* *to Aleri* Do you agree to my plan?

AleriDragon: Works for me! ...And how did Ansem get by me, anyway? ...Nevermind, let's just get me unstuck. I hope the poeple in the room we're blocking haven't starved or anything...

*Camera rapidly cuts to several dead NPCs*

Me: Nah. But the doctors weren't able to get some vital organ transplants done, so don't worry, you did kill something. Actually...*camera cuts rapidly again* A few somethings.

Kain: *sigh* Let us begin. *shoves lance under Aleri* Now, push down on it.

Me: *jumps on it* This is faster. *jump, jump, jump*

AleriDragon: *After several jumps, he has been dislodged, and can now crawl through the corridor* Thanks, now let's follow him. *Proceeds to crawl along, scratching up the floor and destroying items on the walls*

Me: *jumps on Aleri's back* Giddyap!

Laguna: Hey, get off!

Me: Please. I write part of this story! He tries to fight I can just say I'm back at the house and I'll be there!

Laguna: Are you serious?

Me: Damn straight!

Laguna: If you say so...*follows Aleri*

Kain: *sigh* I recommend you not stay up there too long.

Me: I'll stay up if I want!

Kain: Suit yourself. *follows*

Sora: Not cool... *follows*

Me: Who accused me of being cool? I'm probably the biggest nerd I know.

AleriDragon: (So long as he doesn't act like a god, I'm okay with this.) Hey, watch out for that light fixture. *Lurches, moving Haar out of the way of an incoming light that was hanging from the ceiling* ...DiZ, could you slow down? It's REALLY hard to squeeze through these tight corridors...

Kain: I'm curious as to what happens now behind these doors.

Laguna: I could check for you. *pulls out shotgun*

Kain: This is a hospital. You'd best put that away.

Laguna: Oh yeah...hospital. *puts gun away* My bad.

DiZ: *looks at Aleri* *puts both hands out in front of himself*
*the halls are now easily navigable for Aleri*
DiZ: *continues on*

Me: I don't know whether to call that broken, convenient, or screwed up...I'm goin' with screwed up.

Kain: Yes...An interesting power to say the least.

Laguna: Hey, never know. Maybe he's a sorceror

AleriDragon: Well, I think it's awesome. It's also probably better for him that less patients die. *Is now able to walk through normally, and does so*

DiZ: *comes to a very large door, large enough so that Aleri can walk through* Right through here. *goes through the door*

Isa: *is now right next to Xigbar and Lenox* *pulls out his claymore*

AleriDragon: Wow. Big door. How did he even open that thing? *Follows*

*they are both in a very large room with medical appliances in a corner*
DiZ: Alright, now, Aleri, we're going to have to remove a few scales. You're going to feel a bit of a sting.

Me: Then I should probably get down. *does so*

Laguna: *enters room* Lots of stuff here. Wonder what it's for.

Kain: Hm...It would be useful to know if you were a doctor. What did you say your profession was?

Laguna: Uh...I'm president of Esthar and a former journalist.

Kain: Ah.

AleriDragon: I can handle a little sting. I've had worse. ...But I may reflexively knock somebody through a wall, so you guys should probably follow Haar's example and duck. *Braces to minimize auto-asskick reflex*

DiZ: Alright, then. *quickly rips off a scale*
