Posting a lot doesn't increase our power. Our social influence comes from out skill, and how much other people like our storylines. Take Maverick, for instance. He writes some of the best stuff on the site, and he's regarded as superior. What'sUp has a great reputation, too. Ranger and Wolf are new, but they had some serious skill when they joined, which made them instantly equal to some of our veterans.

Sorry about that. On my other RPs your strength and level depends on how many posts you have. Ask Yusei he'll tell you the same thing.

While there are indeed in some cases benefits to such a system you have described, in most cases that is what causes the downfall of many sites. I've belonged to many forums of various themes (mostly airsoft related), and I have seen the downfalls personally.

Agreed completely. Experience=/=skill. And time on thread =/= overall experience.

Look at this situation as a reference: A level one swordsman trains for craploads of EXP points and makes it to level ten. Soon afterward, a level 25 swordsman is recruited. The level 25 swordsman has no experience, but over twice the skill of the one WITH experience.

As for my second reference: A level one swordsman and a level 1 Spear Soldier are recruited at the same time. The spear soldier is used, the swordsman is not. They are around an equal amount of time, but the soldier has much more EXP.

What system do you mean? The posting thing, or the chatbox?

If it's the posting thing, the downfall is only if the members start spamming the forum games. Besides that, there shouldn't be much problems

If it's the chatbox, then the only problem would be if people start arguing, bullying, or swearing. Otherwise, it should be okay.

Also for that admin that said something about working on making a chatbox, I would post a link but it won't let me

Haar is correct; that is not a play-on-words, that was a PUN. The difference between the two is how clever it is.

@Hikari: There is no actual system. Nobody is officially ranked, except our Friendly Neighborhood Administrator. Your character's power is something you decide yourself, and develop as the story progresses.
